Watches and Hinderers

Here's an older pic of mine that fits in here...

Blue one is 3" slicer, black one (it is black) is a new 3.5" Spanto with smooth CF scale. And watch is gold and steel Cartier Roadster automatic.

Apologize for the perspective and weird greenish color of the CF scale. And by the way, did I break the internet or did someone pour molasses into the blade forums router? Have been so frustrated, I've been ready to slice my wrists, but I was afraid the EMT guys wouldn't clean the blood off of my blade.

I want to play! Not the best photo, but the best with my skills. On top my EDC and ED watch, and I love both.

Something tells me I'll have an Omega before 2014. It seems to truly compliment the XM. Submariner too...top of my want list White-faced Daytona. But time will tell.

Nice timepieces everyone!

You will love the Omega, Sub is next on my list too. I'm also a big fan of my TAG Monaco but it is too nice, IMHO,, to wear everyday.

Right on Rubicon. I see we have the same taste in knives and watches(I'm a big 007 fan). Are you a fan of Nighthawk Custom .45s by chance?

Have had a couple Models (Heinie, T3, Talon) Love Kimbers as well (Ultras, Eclipse CDP's) - Then of course Hinderer's :)

Anyone have images of a quality timepiece they've lovingly worn through harsh times/environments?

I am no longer comfortable purchasing leather straps as they eventually fail me, but am open to the opinions and suggestions of experienced watch lovers.

Omegas and Rolex come highly praised. How do the bezels on Omegas and Rolex look after several years of use and has anyone ever had a moment of worry while wearing a quality timepiece?

Here's my philosophy-- if I don't have to question an item and it functions properly every time I need it...I can easily justify the purchase.

Good question N2K.

Unlike some, I wear my Omega and Breitling (before the Omega) everyday no matter what I am doing. Cutting wood, splitting wood, changing the oil in my vehicles - Not a scratch, ding or mark on any of them.
I can try and photograph them at different angles but suffice it to say - No marks at all. Sorta like my Hinderers.
