WE Knives? Another high end Chinese company?

I'm a bit smitten with the 708 Karambit.

I've been thinking about buying the Brous Enforcer Elite (D2 , Ti frame lock , $400). But I just came across the WE 708 Karambit yesterday (S35VN , TI frame lock , $253). Looks sick.

So yeah , I believe the 708 will soon be mine.

Ive got one. Its on point.

Yes it does. I think all we knives come with that tool. They just stopped doing secondary sets of hardware.

Excellent. This will be my first WE and my first Karambit. Looking forward to it.

Which color Ti handle/blade combo did you get , may I ask?

I got the stonewashed blade and stonewashed grey handle. I'm not really a fan of black blades or blue handles. And while the bronze was tempting I wanted a lack of color in case I decided to have it anodized.

Very nice. I'm not a fan of black blades either.

Why does WE knives not have its own forum here btw?
A request has been made for an official sub-forum...by HenkH, I think...but that tends to take some time. As I understand it, all new fora are set up by Spark and he tends to be pretty busy. I imagine he's probably off at blade this weekend.

Just ordered my first WE. 703E.
I think if they made something similar but with a 3" blade they'd sell a ton.

Thats an outstanding knife! I own a WE 617 as first WE knife. They are amazingly well made. Both are big knives, but somehow my 617 feels smaller. I think you will be pleasently surprised with your WE 703!

I probably would have gone for the 617 instead if they were still available. The blade shape is a little more interesting to me.

The Eschaton and the Zeta, by We knives and Isham BladeWorks, will both have torx screw. Release date won't be until the end of the year though.

You are correct Sir. I think about 6 - 8 weeks ago Spark told me due to the new forum software implementation they needed a lot of time. But i hope it will be soon possible. (@Spark)

For those of you guys coming to Bladeshow, the WE Booth is 824. I will be there on saturday and sunday. (Couldn't make it on Friday unfortunately...)

Zeta looks nice (more trailing points!). I appreciate the craftsmanship behind the Eschaton but it's not really for me

And of course that Damasteel blade is gorgeous, up above a few posts

Taking my first bite of the apple, with the 707 ordered thru MD shows a Monday delivery but still hoping for Saturday.
