WE Knives? Another high end Chinese company?

Re: Purple - How odd! That seems like a counterproductive approach. Which, if any, of the two bearing systems seem to produce better results (e.g., longer spin times)?

Howza bout a pic of the alternate bearing?

Man, I'm really liking the looks of their Karambits...I may have to give one a go.

I find that the purple spinner runs faster and longer. The bronze is however smoother. Ill upload a pic soon.

from a recent Birdshot_iv Frankie and the Bird video about blade show. no info on material. I assume its s35vn, but I dunno (maybe someone said in above posts or not).

This is kind of weird.
Right as I woke up this morning a new WE Knives marketing slogan popped into my head.

"WE First" emblazoned on a T shirt.

Well, I must think I am a big dog this month! (3) we blades in one month, no recovering from this.... Here is the latest incoming, I am concerned about the size but the 601 works well in the pocket so I am trying another full frame.

Last year, november, i send a message to the management of Bladeforums with the request for starting a subforum for WE Knife. Since i repeated this request several times. One time Spark answered that they were very busy with the new software for the forum but he would come back to me within reasonable time. Well this was 3 months ago. So 7 months later. Nothing. I give up. I guess i have to move to the other forum for a WE Knife subforum. What do you guys think?

I would shoot spark another message, or an email. Contact him again, potentially a different method this time. I'm sure he's busy.

Keep trying! You guys are building a big fan base.

I would also like to see a We subforum. Gonna need a place to talk about all these funky new designs they seem to be coming out with this year. :)

Please keep trying, Henkh. A forum migration like this takes a lot of work, not only in the months leading up to it, but also chasing down all the bugs in the months following it. I was one of the early proponents for a sub-forum for Kizer and it took a long time to get that off the ground too but now it's up and going strong. Blade Forums needs a WE subforum. We'll get there eventually.

Thanks. This helps a lot.

Here is that pic i promised

One runs on bearings and the other does not?

The bronze one has shielded bearings, the purple runs on open bearings. (EDIT: I went and checked my Blue/Bronze s02, It runs on open bearings like the Purple/Blue in your pic)

On a related note. I have one of these s02 spinners. How do you carry them Purple? I'm still looking for a good carry option.

No they both run on bearings. But the blue one has an open structure with large bearings and the bronze has much smaller bearings encased in almost a sealed like system with metal covers instead of a plastic retainer. The only odd thing is the bronze one seems to have steel bearings inside but I don't want to start prying crap apart to confirm that. They both spin very well and the bronze one is my mothers and she is fine with it.
