WE Knives? Another high end Chinese company?

first three are nice. I don't like harpoon blade style at all but its not that bad and I would grind that off if I decided on that one but great otherwise.

thanks for sharing!

The new models are all nice, but I'd really like to see some smaller, lighter gent-sized knives with We's excellent fit, finish, value, and design flair.

I'm with you. I really like quite a few of WE's designs but they're mostly too big for my preference.

Looks like the all titanium Eschaton is gonna be that WE two tone black blade. I'm starting to lean toward the cf

I received the "entry level" 703 and was impressed by the quality. I won't say I was surprised after hearing so many glowing reviews. My preference would have been for a thinner tip but that's a minor quibble.
The scales are very contoured so the maximum thickness is somewhat misleading. They don't feel thick.

Told you so!

i only like the bigger bladed ones. market is saturated with 3 inch and 3.25 inch blades. smaller than that i have little use for myself. more 4"+ blades please. arent many of those.

I did a poll on BladeForums of preferred blade lengths and also posted what BladeHQ has. Unfortunately, after BF went from vBulletin to XenForo all poll results were lost but in post #46 I had summarized the results (XenForo BB Code doesn't do tables either).

The BladeHQ results were as follows which is somewhat indicative of what the market wants:
  • 2.99" or less: 24%
  • 3.00"-3.49": 26%
  • 3.50"-3.99": 38%
  • 4.00" or more: 12%
BF Poll:
  • 2.99" or less: 13%
  • 3.00"-3.49": 37%
  • 3.50"-3.99": 40%
  • 4.00" or more: 10%

good info thanks.

Just picked up a 707B...Wow. Every bit as solid, smooth, refined and as perfectly finished as my Shiros. Very impressive knife. 4.2 oz. Ceramic detent ball & bearings. Sharp out of the box. My 4th WE. Each one has been a home run. This might be my favorite. A very tough call when they're all so damn good. 707 open.jpg we%20three_zps2twyz84k.JPG

Wow Scrim!!!
Since we have the exact same 2, the bottom 2, does this mean I MUST get the 707 now???
:D
