Week-end Post, What Are You Doing

And thanks again for the free Dinner.
Barkes on the dinner Jacob wanted all the male parts off the Husky, that you asked for.:( The exhaust system is still available, you got to act quick if you wanted it because BBBB Beaver is king on that $hit.
It's sound like a very good chose for a man of your stature. A Butt for a Butthead. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!

Shovel snow !! we already have ~ 5" and expect 8-12" .Accidents all over NY Thruway was closed near Newburgh , I 84 in NE PA was closed !....They've now changed it to 12-18" !!!

well my neighbor just paid me $100 up front to haul some brush off of his other property. he gave me the bill right there on the spot. before that this morning i forged him a poker for his fire from a 5' piece of 3/8" rebar and for the handle i used one of my handles from my hammer that i had replaced. not the new handle but the old handle. so this weekend im hauling brush and waiting on a package that has my belts in it. one good thing tho is that another one of my neighbors let his step daughter and a couple of her friends stay at their summer house which is ight next door to me. and they are beautiful. if only i wasnt good friends with my neighbor...................... whats everyone else doing this weekend?

Tommoro a friend of mine is having a birthday party for both him and his son (only born a couple days a part in the same month). Its going to be a real Viking kind of party. In addition to good food and drink, the sauna is going to be fired up good and hot, with a hole cut into the ice for cooling off for those with good strong cardiovascular systems. For us other folk, we will use the warm buckets of water inside. Should be a blast for all.

Finally got the specs/drawing from my first mod "customer" and got to work on his knife. Seems so weird to chop 3" off a perfectly good knife, but that's what he wants :D

This project was my first chance to try out a brand new Nicholson high-tension hacksaw to cut the blade down to length, and a new Nicholson file for flattening the flats after belt-grinding. Worth every darn penny, I won't buy cheap files or saw blades ever again.

I had a Gibson LGS at one time. Do you play as well. I do, for the last 46 years now. Just thinking about that from your name. Let me know. Have a great day. I will be on the road later today going to Ohio.

I keep an '83 Explorer, '84 Explorer with factory installed Kahler locking trem, and a '94 J185-EC layin' around. It's been years since I was in a band but I still pick some ;)

so is that the horrid noise i was hearing? worst sound i ever heard in my life. get some lessons GibsonFan. HEHEHEHE!!! im all about the sound of a fender telecaster.  :D:D:D:D:D

while i was at the bar tonight one of the band members had a replicated 69 black body telecaster with a white pick guard. sounded beautiful. perfect way to spend st patricks day. drinking a few guinness and listening to the sweet sounds of a telecaster. best st patricks day ever for me.

Well Saturday I will be doing some filework on one of my Barkes Hunter here in the shop. Sunday I may get it done. Hope to post the filework for all to see. What are you all doing this week-end.I did all the filework last night in the shop, was up to 3:30am working on it. Going out of town Sunday, hope to get back to post the work. ------------------:jerkit:

working more on that knife im modifying. sometime next week my shipment of steel comes in. got the belts in wednesday and played with the 150 grit for about an hour. didnt help that i had to focus on my moms chihuahua running around my yard and make sure he didnt run off. now i have to fix a few oopsies on one side and modify the other side to match. cant wait to get my 1080 in.

I got that Bushman mod done to the point it's ready to hand-rub, if the client gives me the go-ahead. Maybe I should put a handle on that file KSO I made...
