two more hours and it will be Fiddleback Saturday for us in East Europe![]()
Sweet, picked up a nice crotchy Hiking Buddy replacement since I sold off mine, I had too many in that color combo, and a nice looking Bushraptor. Almoooost took that tuxedo Bushfinger too but somebody snagged it while I was debating. My pocketbook thanks them.
Well after waiting for many hours, the time has come and gone. What an exciting event. Thanks to everyone that gave me input. I've purchased my very first FF and it's a Bushfinger in tuxedo w/ G10. Can't wait to receive it
Anyone got some 'tuxedo' styles they'd like to share?
That's a beautiful knife. How long did it take to develop that patina?
This might be a silly question but when washing the knife, nothing can get into the crevices right? It's sealed off tight? Or do I have to take care not to let moisture seep in between the scales and the tang?
I think I had it about three months or so when that shot was taken. I couldn't put it down so it did a lot of food prep in that three months. I always hand wash mine at the sink and dry it immediately at home. But a few of my Fiddlebacks have seen their days out in the rain, and I have never had an issue. I don't think Andy would ever put one up on a Friday post that had any epoxy voids in the handle.
Good to know. Thanks!
"2014 0117 009 Bushfinger, Tuxedo Config with black G10 scales (PoP), Tapered Tang, Convex on 1/8 thick 3D Spalted 01 steel" What does the PoP stand for?
The Tuxedo one has black g10 as its main scale material and Judy has it all shined up like hard candy.
My first was a Bushfinger as well, but only about a year ago. Sweet knife. Good first choice.
I believe the "PoP" is in reference to this:
Maybe it's the shined up g10 makes it pop?
