Well...It's Friday...

That is a beauty mist. Absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks H, the indoor lighting isn't doing it justice, I'll try to get some pics in natural light soon. Man, I am really digging this burlap micarta!

So, how does one explain a Bishop to their wife? LMAO.... ?????

"Honey, it's to finish off the zombies when I get bored with shooting them" "It's really important to keep it hanging on the bed post!"

Well...if I had the money, I wouldn't really have to explain it, as she'd already know...I'd just have to deal with her shaking her head every time I had it out for a while :)

That is NICE!!!!!! Looks fun!!!!

Yeah, this one is a bit of a departure from my original departure some years back. It sure feels like it's gonna be fun :)

Well, if you guys don't see me perusing the Friday post today it's because I am out enjoying the fruits of Fiddleback Thursday, and getting acquainted with a new friend :)

Now that is just gorgeous. I'm guessing I just broke some kinda man-law with that, but I don't care. Too much burlap being posted tonight.

I wouldn't know anything about that. :D

This makes me laugh. I thought I was the only one who got that kind of head shaking. :-D

Ack, I knew I shouldn't have spent time thinking about that one. :o

No way she'll be able to ignore the Bishop! Heck, it's already run every other knife off my bench!

LOL, no man law that I'm aware of, I think it's gorgeous too. The burlap is awesome!

Paid memberships are required to sell, but not to purchase.

The Burlap from Shadetree is my new favorite material.

I'm hoping to find a camp knife with it.

I love the way it feels in hand, and it looks really cool too.

Nope, you're not alone man. I seem to inspire my wife to shake her head quite often :D

Ack, I knew I shouldn't have spent time thinking about that one. :o

Yep, been there before, on several occasions :)

My wife tries her best to ignore all the knives around the house, but I'm not so sure she'll be able to ignore the Bishop! :)

I'd say you're going to get the same looks over playing with the Bishop, that I get over playing with my Martin MCE-II...but I waited for it for 30 years so I deal with the looks and enjoy my knife :) You should have seen my five-foot-tall wife wandering around at Blade with it on her belt though, she really got some interesting looks :D

The bad news for me is that I am at home sick with a nasty case of the flu. :grumpy:
The good news for me is that I am at home sick with a nasty case of the flu. :)

Good luck everyone!

I too, fortuitously find myself out sick today. Hoping to score my first Fiddleback. Is it too early to start incessantly refreshing?

Yes! It is way too early for that. I would recommend not doing that until around 7 or 8 pm Eastern - that way the rest of us will have less competition for the knives we're trying to score....

I probably shouldn't have written out that last part.....

:)

Man I received my Asp today WOW I think I found the perfect Fiddleback.

Very subtle Xener :) What FF are you hoping for?
Yeah, subtle was never my specialty....
I'm just browsing today - I have a request into Andy for a knife like the Sneaky Pete with a dark Kirinite handle (a design I affectionately call the dirty tuxedo) like he had in that last batch on the 17th.
