went to my area knife store!

Mmm, I wish there were such a store here. There's a pretty decent one nearby where I live in Boston but the selection that you've got there blows this place out of the water. My local shop never seems to have more than three or four Emersons and their prices on knives are outrageously high. :/

Across the street from me is a tobacco shop that carries a lot of first production Benchmades and some older Spydercos though. Anyone want a first production BM something? Shoot me a message and I'll see what they've got.

I purchased my Strider fixed blade through their site and they were excellent. I'm glad I don't live near a place like that. I'd probably get divorced if i did.

It would take days to look through everything at Plaza. I know, I tried a few months ago. :D

The people running the place are very friendly too.

We only have a little bitey place called Smokey Mountain Knife Works in East Tennessee. :D
SMKW would be very interesting to see. But for my interests, Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa and Nordic Knives in Solvang are all I need.

.

Wow, that's a real knife store. Most I've been in are mall ninja shops-MTECH and Smith and Wesson :/ That CRK Pacific kinda calls to me...

Thats awesome! I'm very lucky to have a good knife store in Portland,OR but it hasn't no where near the sheer volume that Plaza does. The owners at the store by me are more into autos (microtech, protech, al mar...) Excellent knives but I have no interest in autos. They do have a nice selection of BM, Spyderco, Emerson, Kershaw, and William Henry though.

I wish there was something like that around here. I never even get to see higher end knives unless I buy them (which I can't always do). It would be nice to be able to hold one beforehand though.
