What 3 knives would you get first after losing your whole knife collection?

1. SAK probably a OHT or alox soldier

2. Kershaw blur

3. Mora

Really all I need or use on a regular basis although a plier based multitool would be nice and I would miss my buck 110 and opinel no.8

Case Peanut CV steel- SAK Camper- Ka-Bar 1095 blade & leather handle( preferably pre 1990)

1. CRKT M16-02

2. Benchmade Griptilian

3. Jury is still out on a fixed blade. Maybe a Benchmade #162

The M16-02 is a knife that I carried for years while in the service. Not the greatest knife, but I am used to it. A SAK would be better, IMHO, but the 16's blade is easier to deploy.

I am not real crazy about the Griptilian but I find the one I own gets carried more than anything else I own. Bought it second hand for about $20. I think I did OK.

1. Spyderco Manix 2 CTS-XHP
2. Spyderco PM2
3. ZT0801

I'll answer this with those which CAN be readily replaced:
A medium Buck stockman, an Exploer or Yeoman SAK, Spydie Stretch

'. . . after losing your whole knife collection?'

After the deep, dark depression ends;

1. Vic Swisschamp
2. CRK Sebenza 21 or 25
3. Spyderco Endura 4

Thats a realy difficult one... Sort of got me thinking what I carry, and what I need. Since I am into traditionals at the moment, probably a:

-Stockman of some kind
-A fixed blade, something like a puuko
-And a new Spyderco.

Esee 4
Schrade USA 1080t or comparable stockman.
marbles(Imacasa) 18" Machete.

Could do everything I need a knife for with those three and never miss a beat. Though a Kershaw chill or mini grip would be nice as well.

Edited to say I have all of these and others and would still pick these for production knives. if I had a choice and free reign I would change these a bit to include

6"blade 10.5" overall saber ground Drop point hunter in 5/32" 1084 with full tang and ebony handle scales (Made by me) instead of esee 4
Pocket fixed blade 4.5" ish overall 2 1/4" ish blade full convex grind .093" thick 15n20 htd around 59-60rc.(also by me) instead of 1080t.
might even skip the machete and keep the 1080t on that combo as I get allot of use out of that and the large knife is a good chopper.

Some fixed blade for camping. I dunno, maybe something new to try out.

I'd get the 3 I use most, first, and then go from there.... :D

1) Kabar 1232
2) BK11
3) BK9

Now I don't consider my working machetes as part of my "knives", but daily use tools.

I'd have to put a "cheap surplus store machete" as #3,4,5 and 6 if I had to include those. Otherwise, machete would be 4,5,6 and 7.

I would be sooooo pissed, but I would have to buy the three knives that I carry everyday:
Benchmade 940
Victorinox Cadet
Cold Steel Voyager (XL)

Update:

TSF Beast
Spyderco Manix 2 sprint foliage green cts-xhp
