What 3 knives would you get first after losing your whole knife collection?

Survive! 5.1, orange g10 handles, Survive! 3.5 orange g10 and either sebenza 25 or a spyderco PM 2

I'd have to track down another CRK Large Insingo CF BladeHQ exclusive, another 0562CF, and probably another Ratmandu. Luckily, I own few knives that are irreplaceable. There are folks here with vast collections of customs, I think they'd prooooobably throw a rope over the hanging rod in the closet.

This is when adding your expensive customs to your homeowner's insurance schedule comes into play.

Hey, I have some collectibles on my insurance that I would flat out hate to lose, and the monetary replacement value wouldn't even BEGIN to cover the loss. So, I'm sure, it goes for folks with knives, I'd imagine.

1. CRKT M16-02

2. Benchmade Griptilian

3. Jury is still out on a fixed blade. Maybe a Benchmade #162

The M16-02 is a knife that I carried for years while in the service. Not the greatest knife, but I am used to it. A SAK would be better, IMHO, but the 16's blade is easier to deploy.

I am not real crazy about the Griptilian but I find the one I own gets carried more than anything else I own. Bought it second hand for about $20. I think I did OK.

Time for an update:

If I had to do all folders:

1. Kershaw Zing (US version, tanto or drop point).

2. Wenger Standard Issue w/bail

3. Benchmade 551

If I can have a fixed blade:

The Benchmade 551 is out. A Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter is in!

3 RatManDu's . . . one for my home BoB, one for my vehicle BoB and one for my wife's vehicle BoB. Survival comes first.

I can tell you one i'd get right away would be a de-assisted ZT 0566 CF. More i use it the more i love it. Elmax is great. Had one before but obviously didn't give it enough of a chance.

Hmm... First I'd most likely get the poor sob that stole my collection (unless it was an accident in which case insurance would allow me to buy all of them again). Yeah... that would be the plan of action.

1. Benchmade grip for edc.
This was tough cause I love my PM2 but the Benchmade means way more to me.
2. Becker BK7 or tops tracker t2. Love both but couldn't choose just one.
3. Bidor parang or CS kukri machete.
This was sad to think about honestly haha

When I first decided to get into knives a couple of years ago I made a list of my top 3 knives I had to have.
1.RJ Martin Q36
2.Shirogorov mod 95 with SRBS
3.Andre Thorburn L51 anodized gold

It took me a long time but I got all of them, and since my collection has grown quite a bit. Recently I started to get into kwaikens and Jonas @ JIKnvies just created the best kwaiken I've ever seen.

When I found this thread I couldn't believe someone had the audacity to ask such a question. How do you do a Sophie's choice with your knives. WTF, why couldn't you extend it to 4, not 3.

I'm going to remove the thorburn and put the kwaiken in:
1. RJ Martin Q36
2. Shirogorov mod 95 SRBS
3. Kwaiken /modded by JIKnives

and I hate the OP for making me push the Thorburn outside the must have list.

Large and small CRK Insingo. Third would be a Vic Alox cadet for office carry.

''What 3 knives would you get first after losing your whole knife collection?''

Actually a decent hatchet would be a priority, so if I already had that............. Vic alox Farmer, Stainless Mora Companion in fluorescent orange, ESEE Izula 2 (neck carry).

Benchmade 943 is at the top my list. Absolutely love everything about that knife. A 940 wouldn't cut it. Ha, unintentional puns.

Second would likely be a ZT 0770CF M390. Because it's baller.

Third... a tie between a ZT 0566 and LionSteel SR2. Entirely different knives, yes. I'd also likely get either a ZT 0561 or Lionsteel SR1 as the replacement though. I've started to like bigger knives. That's how it goes though, huh?
