What a pile!

Thank you Stan. It's a good knife, but hardly gets carried these days. A single blade is enough for me most of the time, so I'd rather not deal with the extra weight of a multiblade knife.

If you don't mind, I will be using that photo as my screen saver at work as of tomorrow. The age and wear of the stag, the patina on the blades, and my favorite pattern of knife, all combine to speak to me.

All the best,
Stan

The guys all know I'm a gun and knife nut. We build bridges, and fully one half of the guys I work with didn't carry knives when I started with them. That has changed, they all carry stockman knives now. Some have even started their own collections.

All the best,
Stan

Some of my favorite piles.

Oh good lord, that's gorgeous.

I can't say I love with the back side of this knife, but it's one I have that the back is decently different from the front. The front is nice and rounded and convex but the back is concave, sorta. Looks odd to my eyes but is actually a nice grippy indentation for my fingers when opening and closing it.
