What are you thankful for? - Giveaway! *UPDATE* Winners Chosen!

I'm in. I'm thankful for all of God's blessings, but I'm particularly thankful for my wife and my daughter. Our 20 month old daughter brings us such joy each day. She's so sweet and funny. My wife is the perfect help mate. She loves our family so much and does so much for us. We work well together, and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Great giveaway and congrats on getting hitched! I'm thankful for my wife and my family (on her side and mine), I'm thankful I got a new job, we are expecting our first child soon and I'm thankful for our pets, including the crazy puppy we got earlier this year.

I'm in and thanks!

My kids have been sick all year. I dont mean a cold or the flu but things that make a parent go grey.

Through all of this I am grateful as it could have been much worse. I am also grateful that they are beginning to heal and get better.

I'm grateful the bladeforums because I was able to vent at times and have people showed their support and concern for me and my family.

Wow! Good on you, and you are correct for sure, this place is in fact special...

I'm in.

And I right now, I am Grateful for every day we get out of our old Weimeraner. He's 15.5, and 3 Christmas's ago his health was failing bad and we though he wouldn't make it, but he was our Christmas miricle. He bounced back, but even now 3 years later, he's just getting older and we can see it in his steps, in his eyes, in his whole demeanor. He's no spring chicken.

But he's still grateful to be here, and his stubby tail shows it every day, and we're certainly grateful for his company every day we have it.
Hey strat this might sound strange but a good friend that has a Very old cat well into it's teens and I want to say 20's and she had wrote it off for dead once so her being a nurse and having knowledge of the use of CBC oils she started dosing her cat. within a week of being treated the cat started eating, cleaning itself, and following her around the house. it's been over a year and the old boy is doing great. Vets give pets people drugs all the time so why not CBC's to ease the aches and pains and there's no side effects whatsoever and your not getting your pet high, CBC's relax the body, THC's get you buzzing. just trying to spread the word on her discovery. Good luck and enjoy time left with that handsome pet

I'm thankful for my family. Good parents. Loving wife and kids.

I'm in, Thanks for the chance!

Thank you for the chance Fixall, I am in.

I'm grateful for my beautiful wife, cool as stepson, and my now 3 1/2 year old son who arrived when I was 50 and was convinced I would never father a child myself.

This year, I'm grateful to still be employed, it's an ongoing challenge to keep my workplace going and I'm highly focused on that.

And I'm grateful for BF - I don't do any social media or other forums, just this one. Special place and I'm grateful for the good people here that make it so.

I’m in
First and foremost I’m thankful for my wife of 44 years and my 3 kids and 8 grandkids, they keep me happy, healthy and content at all times.

Second I’m thankful for a great work family, when spending a good portion of time with them on a weekly basis it’s a good feeling to have this.

In! Thx!

Sorry for not being able to add anything different. I am thankful for my family as well. Two kids who bring me love and laughs everyday and a wife who is 10 times the mom than I am a dad.

Just updated the entry list.

Looks like things are already slowing down a bit. I’ll keep this open until 11:59pm on Sunday, November 11th and then close it down and use “Random Name Picker” to select the winners. :)

Awesome giveaway! Thanks for looking out.

This year has been rough as it has for many. But through it all I got the job I had been shooting for for the past couple years. Also thankful for my one-year-old son and the nights I can get more than 5 hours of sleep. :-) Very thankful also for my amazing wife who puts up with all my BS.

Thank you for the opportunity I'm in. I'm grateful for many things today but it's my sobriety I'm greatful for the most. Because without that I have nothing else. I showed up in the city I'm living in today 13 years ago this past September 2nd. I had my brother drive me here from our hometown witch is about a 90 minute drive away. It was a sad day for me because I'd just left everybody I knew and loved behind to go live in a men's shelter in a city were I knew no one (witch was actually the main attraction) I was strung out and so sick I didn't know witch direction to head and up seemed the hardest one of all. I don't want to make this too long so ill give you the Readers Digest version of the story. I'd been drinking alcoholically since I was 15. I started at 14 but it took me a year to catch my stride. I was removed from my mother's house at 16 because I kept getting arrested for underage drinking. It didn't slow me down in the least. In my early 20's my Dr told me my liver was damaged and if I didn't stop drinking I would be dead much sooner then I would like. I quit that day until 7 months later when he told me my liver was heald and I of course ask if I could have a social drink. Lol never had A SOCIAL DRINK in my life. The next time I'm sober for any length of time is only because I broke both my legs and both my arms in a car accident. My friend fell asleep at the weel and snapped a telephone poll in half. I almost died that night for the first but definitely not the last time in my young life. I was 24 years old. So with all the broken bones you can imagine I was not long getting introduced to the wonderful world of opioid's Let's just say I finally found something that could make me stop drinking. I would go on to live a life that made my earlier years as an alcoholic look like a cake walk. By the time I end up were this story starts with me on my way to the men's shelter because I truly have no were else I can be I'm 34 it's 2006 and I've just been out of prison for 10 months. A place I'm certain I'm going back to if I don't do something to drastically change my life. That's the reason for the move you see. I know nobody made me do anything but I have a family riddled with addiction so I could do just about anything and still have someone to drink with or a couch to sleep on not to mention very little judgment for the insanity I was calling a life. So I did the only thing I could think of that I had in my power to do. I left. It took me over a year but on October 25th of 2007 I took what I hope is my last drink of alcohol and did my last bag of drugs. Last month I celebrated 11 years clean & sober and I know for a fact without the people in my 12 step program and the love and guidance of my higher power I would be a dead man today. If you made it to the end of this thank you and if you know someone struggling in addiction please keep in mind it truly is an illness the party for them has been over for years. Trevor

I'm in. I am thankful for doing well in school, 7 months left. 2 of the most difficult terms to go, then DONE!! Grateful for everyday, to live on a great farm, and have great family and friends. And lots of stuff to cut!

I'm in, and thank you.

I'm thankful for my son, who is truly my miracle. We had multiple miscarriages and were unsure we'd ever be able to have children, and then boom, he decided to show up. He makes every day worth it, no matter how shitty things are at work or how tight money is, and keeps me going.
