What are you watching & why? (splain)

we bought the seven season boxed set of Game of Thrones years ago when it was on sale- which was probably around the time season 8 came out. Then we got season 8 when it was on sale and now have the complete set. So we started watching it a couple weeks ago and are constantly reminded how we previously watched it on some glitchy, poor resolution stream on our laptop, by constantly being surprised by what happens. Even though we know what happens. Watching that guy's face getting pulled apart was a real eye opener.
 
Watching New Tricks. Classic style BBC detective show with dark humour. Pretty sure some folks in here would like it too.

One cop makes a mistake during a raid. Gets put in charge of a cold case task force with no budget. Gets to hire ex officers all with backstories that affect the current case.

I like the dog (we have our 3rd Cane Corso now - most gentle dog we’ve ever had). The guy had it coming of course.

We watched a few episodes before it became a bit tired. But it was fun at first.
 
Netflix limited series called “Painkillers.” Shows the way the pharmacy company got their sales elevated to record levels, and then the investigation that brought them to a screeching halt. Of course, it’s the Hollywood version of those events.

so many faces being pulled apart, it's hard to tell one from the other. I was referring to when the mountain fucked that guy with the spear up

That was a good one! Check out dopesick too if you like painkillers. Same premise I feel it was better

He had a couple blood clots in his leg after some recent travel and wasn't sure he could compete. He "only" threw 22.98 until the last round when he went 23.51m, just shy of his WR. He won by more than a meter.
