I'm not even sure how many times I've watched that movie at this point, but it doesn't get old.

And the book. I'm a big Cormac McCarthy fan and have read pretty much all of his stuff. He'll be missed.

Watched both seasons of LOKI while I worked this week. I hate myself for saying this, but it was fun. Typically nonsensical. I’m not recommending it, other than to say I enjoyed it more than I have the actual films so far. Too much running around, too much action, and too much theoretical guessing as to how to proceed past seemingly insurmountable obstacles. It’s fun brain bleach.

Yup. As great as the movie is, the book is 10 times better.

I re-read 'Blood Meridian' not long ago. Still an amazing read, and so dense that I pick up on new little things every time I read it.

I thought the performances were excellent this season. Especially the gals...but everyone played their roles very well.

yeah, excellent acting and also the dialogue is brilliant as is the soundtrack. I like allegory and metaphor, and those Cohen bros are all about that. Entertaining to watch, but it doesn't end there- a lot of it lives on in my brain well after

It's a B movie and it's extremely, for the lack of a better word, Trippy. With a surprise ending that explains it all. There's comedy and sorrow. Frustration and madness.


Not bad, not bad at all.

I will likely be a forever holdout. As fond as I am of Westerns (very fond), I won't be giving Yellowstone any of my eyeball time. I did watch 1883 but that is as close as I will get.

This was a surprise feature at one of my annual Halloween Movie Nights many years ago - it's AWESOME!

It is my top movie in its genre.
One of those movies you see and wonder how it is you’ve never heard of it before.

Another funny movie (though not horror) where I felt that way was “Paul”.

I’ve been watching “ Locke & Key “ on Netflix. Im really liking it , but I’m a nerd at heart anyway lol. I like these mystical , magic, sorcery , type shows. Toss a little old New England witchcraft stuff in there and I’m in lol. Give me enough time and I’ll binge watch all the Harry Potters lol
