What are you watching & why? (splain)

Watching the presidential debate. Tune in if you want a cringey laugh.
I missed the first 15 or so minutes and tuned out at the end because I didn't know they'd get a little extra closing statement time.

My favorite part was when they were asked about childcare affordability and they took the time to continue the question about the concerns about their age to argue about golf handicap, which Trump thought was highly relevant and which Biden couldn't remember.

I couldn't watch all of it. It was like watching two insecure teenagers squabble over who was to blame for scratching their parent's car and who looked cooler driving it.

I just finished Mad Men for the second time in a few years and I'm blown away by the writing. The creator of the show worked on The Sopranos and you can tell, it's an impressive piece of work. Second time I've finished the whole thing in about 5 years and I forgot so much of it and now I'm sad that it's done :(

Will probably watch Deadwood (series and movie) for fourth time because I love milch’s writing. Madmen seems to be a must watch from all the great reviews it’s garnered.

He has a great interview on this weird little show called Dinner For Five. I believe you can catch most of them on youtube. Deadwood was amazing.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

OK for mindless popcorn fare, but they seem to be going down the Fast n Furious/Michael Bay rabbit hole of ridiculousness, of “Moar explosions! Moar bigger! Moar better!”

The series Monarch:Legacy of Monsters on AppleTV, at least had an interesting storyline.

I liked godzilla x kong: the new empire. It was just a "relax and enjoy" movie. I was pretty surprised that it was as good as it was, but I had low expectations.

I couldn't stand Monarch: legacy of monsters. They milked every episode they could without advancing the plot. It just had way too much filler and too little substance.
