What are you watching & why? (splain)

I'm also watching Rings of Power Season 2. I'm a LOTR tragic and so will watch anything related.
Is this series true to the books and Lore? No, not really. Do the purists celebrate it? No, Am I enjoying it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes.
If you go in with the mindset that it's more entertaining then having nothing to watch, then hopefully you'll enjoy it too!
 
Watched NHRA US Nationals, Indy cars, ARCA on dirt, and the end of the NASCAR race…that was yesterday.

Today it’s the 70th Annual running of the US Nationals at Indy Raceway Park and it starts after bit and will be on most of the afternoon… 🥳❤️:cool:

The why is I’ve been a fan for 60 years and they closed our World Class track because of a tax dispute….opened in 1989 and I went to every event for 34 years, even had 2 National Events a year for 5 years….never missed any of the 39 Nationals. 😢

The very last race at the track my son and I hung out with Steve Torrence and his team.

I’m currently watching “fear the walking dead”. I didn’t know the show existed and now I have a whole slew of seasons to watch. I’m almost to season three and so far everything is good.

On another note, I just finished watching KAOS. Pretty good.
 
Watched "The Fall Guy". It was okay. Entertaining with a few laughs. Nothing is stand in line for, but worth a watch if you're just looking for something mildly entertaining..

Watched "A Quiet Place: Day One". Ugh....cashing in on the name at this point. A stupid plot line trying to skate by on a romanticized cliché. I wouldn't bother watching it unless you're completely bored and have nothing else to watch or re-watch.
 
I just watched the first three episodes of Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist on NBC/Peacock.

It stars Samuel L. Jackson and a bunch of other great actors and actresses.

It is based on a true story, and is super duper good.

The actor that plays Mohammed Ali steals every scene he is in, his speech and mannerisms really capture Ali.

Highly recommended, probably the best show I have watched in years.
 
Currently re-watching Game of Thrones. Seasons 1-5 were really great entertainment but it gets very "un-fun" in the later seasons. These days I'm not super keen on watching anything that that makes me tighten in my chair. We get enough of that with politics :)
