What are you watching & why? (splain)

Ok, finished S5 of 'Slow Horses.' What a disappointment. The gun handling has always been atrocious on this show, as it is in just about every British show I've seen, but I could overlook it when the writing was funny and smart and not trying to bash me over the head with woke social programming. If it wasn't for Gary Oldman, it would have been a complete pile of steaming :poop:.
Gun handling is the most important thing for me while watching TV and Movies too! What a coincidence.

Once I watched this show where there was a carload of CIA and special forces guys going toe to toe with a bunch of cartel gangsters and one clown had his carbine bolt locked back what a a joke, if you can't get it right, don't do it at all.

Wait a minute, he looked just like the dude in your picture! Wow crazy.

Oh gosh! On behalf of the writers and technical advisors of that movie, I am so embarrassed. 😂

Plan on watching "Weapons" soon. Anybody else seen it and can recommend if it is worth the time? Also want to see "Nuremburg" when released Nov. 7. Russell Crowe is a good actor who plays Goring.
I thought Weapons was worth the watch.

Couple things:
- Watch it in a dark room. Don’t watch it in a brightly lit room. There are a lot of dark scenes in the movie (not subject matter. Literally low light levels).

- hope your display has decent black levels and shadow detail, or you’ll be one of those, “Can’t see sh## half the time!” reviews.

Hope it's better than Barbarian...that was F'ing stupid. First half wasn't too bad, but then wtf?

Yeah it's definitely worth it. A bit overhyped but a fun watch if you're a bit of a sicko like me. And definitely better than Barbarian. He got a blank check this time and clearly spent a lot more time doing good stuff in post.

What am I not watching? The original 911. Watched it since the beginning and really liked it, at least the first few seasons. Kept watching just because, but then seeing the ads for the new season where they're in space? Nope. Jumped the shark. Done.

Tried to give 911 Nashville a go. First few minutes a kid gets launched into the air by a little kite. Nope. Sorry LeAnn Rimes. Done before it even started.
