Vikings was a surprisingly epic series. I thought it was going to a garbage production but it was genuinely impressive, as was the acting. I re-watched The Tudors again recently and really enjoyed it. I had seen some of it when I was younger and didn't think much of it but it's a great little show... especially the episode where they kill Anne Boleyn. Also re-watched Deadwood again, love it.

I think I enjoy period films/tv shows more because they tend to avoid all of the cuckery that seems mandatory in modern tv.

Task led me to Mare of Easttown which is more twisted up. Task is pretty much a straight line beginning to end.

It's a post apocalyptic, rock-a-billy, samurai movie in the spaghetti western genre.

Lots of blades.
Good soundtrack.
