What are you watching & why? (splain)

Just finished watching Tiger King. Absolutely disgusted by the majority of the cast of characters, irrespective of what I imagine was shown after the usual made for TV narrating and editing. Believe or not, I found more characters with less redeeming qualities than Joe Exotic! Maybe because Joe was already busted and was serving punishment even if I personally find 22 years in club-Fed as lighter than he deserved. I read somewhere today that about 70 or so of those big cats were already moved to a sanctuary in CO where I expect that they receive much better care and treatment in their new habitat.

I haven't managed to watch another episode yet. I'm expecting the series to become darker though. Joe gets 22 years wow! What's coming up!
 
I’m on season 1, episode 7 of westworld. So far it’s interesting enough that I’ll continue and it’s free :-) All these shows everyone mentions here. I’m going to have to get a notebook and write them down.

My apologies for the spoiler :( For some reason I had thought that you were all caught up! Sadly there were no winners in that outlandishly crazy story because the real predators (no pun regarding the big cats) were still on the loose. The illegal trade of these big cats and other exotic animals in this country is very disconcerting and extremely disturbing.

No worries. I knew he was in/had been in prison by the episode I'm on. But 22 years wow I'm more intrigued than ever to see what he's done.

Watched The Coming Pandemic on Amazon Prime last night. So apropos and so prescient. "who could've seen this coming", eh? Well looks like we were making preparations as far back as the task force folks during GWB's admin because this documentary was made in 2005 :eek: So where did most of those experts go I wonder? :rolleyes: :mad:
 
How to fix a drug scandal on Netflix.

Documentary about a western Massachusetts drug testing lab chemist who got busted for tampering with evidence and sticking her hands in the proverbial cookie jar creating huge issues for their criminal system and past drug convictions. Interesting.
