What are you watching & why? (splain)

Frazer, have you watched Fearless with Helen McCrory (the aunt in Peaky Blinders) in it? I was browsing Amazon last night and came across it, watched a bit of it which looked promising. I’m a sucker for BBC type Brit shows with great acting and good storylines.

It doesn't seem familiar but looks promising. I'll give it a watch, might find I watched it on the BBC when it was on.
One problem we are having over here is reduced Internet speeds. Streaming providers have reduced their quality but it's still an issue

No worries and don't put yourself out man! I will probably watch it anyway because I'm dying for some great acting in lieu of out-of-this-world CGs and special effects.

Speaking of, I am saddened to say that W.W.III is losing me fast :( Delores was my fave character as I found her appealing, sexy and intriguing when she started as a farm girl transitioning into Wyatt. I found most episodes if S2 done so beautifully and exquisitely too, but this S3 so far with the carbuncle / urban jungle type of background sets and over complications and super convolution has left me meh, Meh, MEH!!! Tell me that I'm just an old fart and too stupid to get the ultra-geekiness and I think that I will accept that but I think that the writers are jumping the shark. Just my worthless opinion.

Season 3 is confusing as hell, that's for sure...actually still need to watch this weeks episode. I got the wife (@Sanaria) to give "The Expanse" a shot on Friday and we wound up binging it all weekend, lol.

I am sure that after rewatching the entire S3 like 2-3 times and then watching the recap of the geeks deciphering this shyte on YT, I will eventually have the Ah-ha moment, but so taxing to do it that way. I will still miss the cinematography of S2, but in this S3, Z-German-Nazi scenes with Maeve look kinda promising!

Watched The Expanse when it was on SyFy, but stopped when it went to wherever it went (currently don't have any streaming services). Wasn't too bad, but got a little weird later on.

Just finished Tiger King.

We've been watching a docuseries on youtube highlighting people who live in either tiny or unusual homes. So far we've seen a 97sq.ft house, a floating boat house island thing, 2 homes built into hills like hobbit homes, and a converted firewatch station into vacation home. Pretty interesting stuff! Not sure how people can live in such a small space. I mean... where do they store their CPKs?!??!

MATEWAN ~ movie about West Virginia Coal Miner's and the Rise of the Union and the Events that had Unfolded and had taken place ~ I will be reading the book too...that's called " THUNDER IN THE MOUNTAIN'S " ~ My father turned me unto it and says the Book and the Movie are really good......and to watch the movie first then read the book......that way you can get a better idea on the happening's in the book ~

He grew up living in a company owned home latter in life they had purchased it from the coal company and owning it outright and to this very day he says his childhood home is still standing ~ Elbert West Virginia ~

He said as a kid he worked in coal mines just like the ones shown in the film ~
