What are you watching & why? (splain)

The high level of tradecraft can be a lot to take in.
Yeah. It was entirely believable. Mild mannered analyst by day...deadly Tier 1 operator by night...ladies want him, men want to be him.

If I want to see heroes, I'll look to men like this...most of whom remain unnamed and unknown. Talk about running into the teeth of enemy fire.

OMG, this Jack Ryan show grows more absurd with each episode. It's like an accident I can't look away from now. Who writes this crap? (It's utter nonsense.)

(Apologies to anyone who actually likes the show.)

I like it but I'm not offended that you don't. I have very LOW standards when it comes to visual entertainment. LOL! ;)

If it doesn't pass muster for me, I'll turn it off in the 1st 2-3 mins. That wasn't the case for "Jack Ryan" for me.

I've already watched all 8 episodes of "Jack Ryan" twice. So, I obviously do not have a problem w/it. 🤷‍♂️

Just watched "Groucho & Cavet" on PBS' "American Masters tonight.

IMO, it's well worth the 1 hr and 20 mins of your time.

You can watch it in full here: https://video.wgbh.org/video/groucho-cavett-uxozhl/

I also started watching an old TV show staring Jim Caviezel called "Person of Interest" that aired between 2011-2016 on CBS.

The best way to describe it is that it's a somewhat more believable variation on the movie "Minority Report."

It must have been a popular show because it aired for 5 years and over 100 episodes but I never heard of it before.

Only on Season 2 but have to rewatch a lot of episodes because I'm just letting it run in background while I'm doing other things.

The few episodes that I've actually watched are pretty good BUT there are so many plot holes (and implausible plot lines) hat anyone who pays attention to such thing will go nuts.

But, it's entertaining to me, nonetheless.

LOL! ;)
