What are you watching & why? (splain)

On the other hand, I've always thought that "Home Alone" was really stupid. It has never passed my 2-3 min rule. LOL! ;)

Home Alone 1 & 2 are Christmas Movie staples at my household. We watch them every year on Christmas Eve or Christmas proper. Definitely silly but super nostalgic for us.

I just watched The Liberator for the second time through on Netflix. It's a mini-series that covers the 45th Infantry Division (or "Thunderbirds") and their efforts in Europe during WWII. Interesting filming style but overall very excellent - highly recommended if you like WWII content.

I also started watching an old TV show staring Jim Caviezel called "Person of Interest" that aired between 2011-2016 on CBS.

The best way to describe it is that it's a somewhat more believable variation on the movie "Minority Report."

It must have been a popular show because it aired for 5 years and over 100 episodes but I never heard of it before.

Only on Season 2 but have to rewatch a lot of episodes because I'm just letting it run in background while I'm doing other things.

The few episodes that I've actually watched are pretty good BUT there are so many plot holes (and implausible plot lines) hat anyone who pays attention to such thing will go nuts.

But, it's entertaining to me, nonetheless.

LOL! ;)
Wife and I loved that show, at least for the first few seasons. Went a bit off the rails towards the end.

And the first one was a magnum opus compared to the sequel.

But in the name of full disclosure, the only reason I found the first one interesting was Ana de Armas.

So did Daniel Craig who personally lobbied for Ana to get her role in Craig's last Bond movie.

That said, you two could have entirely different objects of desire.

Watched Black Adam and Bullet Train for my weekly Bourbon and Movie night.

Black Adam was fun and despite some of the cheese, I was entertained (easily done). I tend to gravitate towards antiheroes anyway and I am pretty bummed that we won't see any more of Black Adam with all the shakeups going on at WB and DCEU.

Bullet Train was a fun ride (again, easily entertained). I now want to see a Lemon and Tangerine spinoff.

Just started Alice in borderland on Netflix

Don't know what I think about it yet , has a very squid game feel to it
