What are your top 5 favorite all-around EDC knives?

My beloved Spyderco Southard has fallen off the list! And the Umnumzaan...say it’s not so!
VERY NICE!!!

Anyhow, here’s my top 5 as it stands tonight:

In order:
1. Lg Inkosi CF
2. Spyderco Rhino
3. Schempp Bowie
4. Spydiechef
5. SG Spider Monkey.

I like that these threads come along periodically as my collection and tastes (mostly my tastes) change over time.

1) Spyderco Paramilitary 2 S35VN DLC
2) Spyderco Pacific Salt H1 full serrated
3) Victorinox Camper
4) Benchmade Volli S30V
5) Kershaw Link 420HC

Honorable mentions to Paramilitary 3 S35VN, Victorinox Alox Farmer, and Salt 2 serrated, and Buck 112 Slim.

Oh, I forgot how much I love my Kershaw Link! I've been meaning to get one in M390. I didn't even know that the PM2s were being made with S35vn now. I thought they were all S30V.

The S35VN PMs are a sprint run or distributor exclusive that I believe are still available. I like that steel a lot. Easy to sharpen and wears well. Probably my sharpest plain edge knife readily at hand.

I have a M390 Benchmade Barrage and trying to sharpen it is frustrating. Some guys live the steel but not me. S35VN is the sweet balance for me.

Out of everything I own, these four folders see the most day to day use. In no particular order:

Kershaw Zing, US made.

Benchmade large Griptilian

Benchmade 531

Victorinox Cadet.

If I lost my Griptilians, I suppose that I would reach for my old school CRKT Prowler as a replacement. Not the best steel but, I love the design. I guess the Prowler makes five folders.

I also have a Spyderco D'Allara 3 that is just sitting. I bought it last January but I have never really used it much.

My top 5 this year can easily be narrowed down to my top 3
Reate K2 (bronze)
Buck 501 (usually DLT green/s35vn)
Fixed blade by willie71

I still switch out; but not as often... and usually because I realize I'm in danger of becoming "exclusive" with these.

Oh boy.

Hinderer XM-18 3,5 Sheepsfoot
Benchmade Crooked River Mini
Kershaw Emerson CQK7K
Spyderco PM3(the platform)
Mora Companion.

Maybe.
The Hinderer is in, and the Crooked River is in. The other ones are subject to change.

I live in the city so my true all-around EDCs are restricted to under 3.5". This is my list as of today. It can easily change by next week.

1. Brad Zinker Dogtooth
2. Viper Belone
3. Benchmade 477 Emissary
4. Spyderco PM2 - M390 with Aramis custom CF scales
5. Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Skinny Slicer

1) Spyderco Manix 2 sprint CTS-XHP
2) WE Deacon
3) Spyderco Domino
4) Massdrop/FF/WE Gent Select
5) Bailey Model 2 geek edition

Close 6th would be the ZT 0095S90BLK. It's more a weekend knife.

I don't really have a set rotation. I usually try to carry a knife that suits my anticipated activities for the given day. These are currently the ones most often in my pocket:
Vic Pioneer X (every day, everywhere.)
Kizer Mini Domin
TRM Atlas
Manly Wasp
Opinel #9

These have been getting a fair bit of pocket time, lately. The Alox goes with me to work, so it's easily #1.

And the copper Ripple

Also go with me on the weekends. I know that's more than five but I don't keep track of pocket carry time, and the Camillus in the first picture is in pieces in a bag.

In no particular order the 5 that get most pocket time:
-Small Pheasant Tail Sebenza
-TSF Beast
-Spyderco Para-2
-ZT 0450
-Grayman Dua
Honorable mention goes to my Medford Slim Midi Marauder. I didn't put it on my list because I've had it less than a year and the others for several years.I didn't include a Buck 110 because as much as I like it I've never considered it an EDC. I didn't list a slip joint or SAK because I seldom carry one as my primary knife.

Most carried...
1) Crk Sebenza 21
2) Le Thiers Nature
3) Spyderco Memory
4) Burger LEXK
5) GB Shamwari

Edit to add: Spydie Nirvana is finding its way into my pocket more often these days too.

I keep 3 Buck 110’s on 3 pairs of pants. I come home from work hang up my work pants and put on either jeans or jean shorts.

If I need to dress up I put an aluminum engraved Buck 111 in my pocket. It’s a fancy lightweight 110.

Lately I’ve been carrying fixed blades when I can. Usually a Buck 124 with a Buck 110 sheath sewn to it.
