no idear on burning orange tree wood....not sure it's a good thing? I'd have to look it up.....I never tried. just looked it up, guess ya can use it for cooking. didnt know that.....

kinda both. it's got some light almost whitish blond streaks in it, but only certain lighting like sunlight brings it out well in pics.....

Grabbed my 110 Slim Select and noticed the thumb studs are loose and spin and rattle. Put that in my SPA/repair/reblade pile and grabbed the 80's style 303. Feels good in the pocket while I blare some Huey Lewis and finish the work week. All I want is a couple days off.....

Update: I gave the 110 SS a little pinch in the bench vise and she snugged up the thumbstuds. So in the pocket it went with the 303.

Carrying a 444 today. I mistook a Milkbone that was in my pocket for the knife and pulled out a milkbone to open a box. D'oh! Pretty close to the same size and texture.

It's definitely a novelty knife. I've always had better luck getting killer edges on my 90's/early 2000's Bucklites than I do any of my other Bucks. Maybe it's just a mental thing.

Skimming through some of the posts I've missed and you all reminded me to check my buck drawer...haha it's partly things I put there and partly whenever I leave something sitting around and my wife dumps it in the drawer. Not as messy as usual actually. 🤣
