What Buck are you carrying today?

My custom shop 110 has pulled display duty on my dresser the last few days while I returned my newly shod 110 to my belt.

For the next few days though, it will share time with its now matching little brother. I finished it up today.

I'm tempted to figure out a way to carry them together. Dual sheath? 🤔 Okay, that may be a little too much...

So awesome!

Seriously folks have y'all noticed just how very many MORE people are carrying and using the 112 in the last few years? I have been in the BCCI and on the Forum here since 2007 or so and a certified 112 Fanboy shortly after that. The 112 at that time was not just the 110's little Brother but basically the 'Redheaded Stepchild' of Bucks folders. Very few nickel silver frames drop point and/or super steel blades fancy LE's or gold etch blades. But since around 2016 that started to change.
I haven't looked at this thread for at least 3 weeks and I was again struck by how many folks are now collecting and using the 112.. Not too big not too little.. just right.

Yep! Even I'm carrying a Buck 112 today and I think the blade on the 110 is too short! There does not exist a production folding knife that feels better to hold and use than a 112.

My oldest 110 I bought about 50 years ago, and I've added a few since then. I never bought my first 112 until last December, but right off I loved it. The size & feel just suit me.

I'll bet it has something to do with the size of cell phones now days. When we were kids, you had a wallet, a 110 and your car keys in your pocket. Now days, we sacrifice an entire pocket to a brick sized cell phone so everyone switched to the 112 and a Ridge wallet to make room for the laptop in your other pocket. How's that for a conspiracy theory?

Pretty soon, we'll have a continual 112 post going because all the 110 owners will switch to the 112 the next time they upgrade their phone and it's the size of a Geo Metro.
