Apparently I'm not working mine as hard as you are. I've had a few quiet days since I got it. I have faith it will get there though.

So for today, I am pairing my (still looking new) brown beauty with the blue beast.

Mine's the one on the previous page with oak slabs. mill428 has the one up above with walnut. I haven't seen anybody here with a cherry or ironwood one yet, though.

I have others similar but I keep coming back to that one. It does exactly what I want it to do. It keeps it protected and instantly accessible all at the same time. ...And it's aged nicely over the few years I have had it.

Not yet in the pocket. Arrived yesterday. Needs cleaning and edge touchup. I prefer the square shoulders on the bolsters over the rounded shoulders.

I've been wanting a brown micarta 110 to match a few of my other knives, so I thought I would take on the task myself. I had some old micarta block insulation that I've had setting around for years so yesterday I gave my most used S30V 110 some new shoes. I like how it turned out. The insulation block has some unique character to it. I also left the bolsters with a brushed finish since this is my main user. I'll have this one with me today.
