  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Buck are you carrying today?

Yep it's the iconic old farmers shotgun. Weighs 5 lbs 4 oz loaded (28" Modified). A monument to Simplicity. This one is a 1979. A Buck 110 makes the perfect companion... 🤠

I have one from about 89 or 90. It was my stepdads. When I inherited it about 21 or 22 years ago it was a rusted mess. I refinished it and it’s been on many outings. My oldest daughter now 28 has claimed it when I pass on.👍

Your shotgun harkens back to my boyhood, my Dad started me and my brother with 410, break open shotguns that looked much like your H&R. Those shotguns were used Springfields from the hardware store. Springfields were the cheap version of the Savage-Stevens. Bird hunting on the ditch banks of my uncles farm. Good days!

Ps., still carrying the Paperstone Vantage 345.
