What Buck are you carrying today?

Had this one today retriever training...

What makes it better?
Referring the the Spyderco style pocket clip for the Sklim Selects, Long and thin makes a better pocket clip than short and fat. It holds better, yet slides out of the pocket easier.

As inexpensive as they are, try one from one the "of course you can return it places" like amazon and try it!!

I had this Spitfire up for sale awhile back but didn’t have any takers. I am really starting to like it after removing the pocket clip. I think I might keep it in my pocket for a few weeks in hopes of putting it to work. It looks too new.

Those are nice!
I have one as well and haven't used it.
Maybe I shall.

I think it's the thought of marking up the blade and then it wouldn't look good.

Retired the Mini Grip for the day and swapped out to the new clip on this one:

But I'm noting the thumb stud is spinning in place which is annoying but I suppose not interfering with opening. Just strange. May try tapping it with a hammer to see if that tightens it any since I'm guessing it's a press fit part. Or I swap the clip to the brother in gray FRN. Which seems safer.

The thumb stud on one of my 112 Selects spins. It's been that way since I got it, 3 or 4 years ago. It doesn't bother me, but the other one that doesn't spin, bothers me even less.:)

Figured I would show a shark catch and cook start to finish - caught the shark (Atlantic Sharp Nose) about 3 weeks ago and had it vacuum sealed in the freezer until this evening when I made some shark katsu!
Step 1: Bring a cooler full of 20 pounds of ice to the beach
Step 2: Catch the shark.

Step 3: Bleed and gut the shark immediately upon catching (not shown)
Step 4: Ice the shark down for 6+ hours to firm up the meat and reduce the acidic content

Step 5: Filet the shark

Step 6: Soak in buttermilk overnight
Step 7: Remove any remaining blood line from the filets and cut into nuggets with your trusty Buck 118!

Step 8: Deep fry

Step 9: Eat the shark - my favorite part
