Here you go, Clint. Nice grab, congratulations!0101...That is the number of the Old Custom shop 112 I just won on the Bay!!! I tried to grab a pic but no luck. Complete with all paperwork burgundy shieth and big Old Custom shop box. Not cheep but in all the years I have been chasing 112's I have only seen 6 numbered knives offered for sale and bought one of them number 0136..Extremely well matched Stag, brass frame and mirror polished blade with Old English Buck Custom script tang stamp its one of 136 112's on the books. I will try and get a letter from Buck to see if it was ordered by a individual or perhaps a distributor. Ten years ago I would not have bought for the price I paid but as the years go by I find myself appreciating 112's like this one more . So many of the Old Custom shop knifes dissapeared into the black hole of long time collections as this one did since the early 90's and only come on the market when the collector dies..
might, might just have them all! Just teasing, sort of.Skyler might..
New exclusives just hit the website. I have my first 111 on its way. I needed to check out really quick so nothing else got stuck to my cart. There are some nice ones available.
You are right, congratulations!Chuck was such a great Gentleman and giant in the knife industry and to have a 112 from the first weekend it was for sale, touched by the Masters hand, it just don't get any better if you collect the 112..
Just ordered a 722 for my son for Christmas. Purple blade with Grey g10 handles and a baby blue spacer... going back and forth between a stag 112 and a sunset jigged 501 for my other son. ...
Hello fellow Rhode Islander!
Hello... had your calamari and coffee milk today?Hello fellow Rhode Islander!
Got a orange Spitfire on the way.
I was watching an episode of Life Below Zero and saw a outfitter using one to prepare his camp.
This happens to me more than I would like to admit. I see knives in pictures, videos, TV, movies, or even in person and want to try one out.
Speaking of Spitfires, are these discontinued?
Thanks. Glad to hear you like your mini. These are still available on the Buck site, including the orange version. I have a 726 Mini SpitFire and really like it. (It's actually in my pocket now.) Now you are getting me interested in the regular sized 722 SpitFire....
