What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

Perfect, I’d love to hear how this compares to the higher priced versions. Your posts are just some of several that have me wanting to try one of these out. If this one is close, I’d order one in a heartbeat. Please let us know if you don’t mind.
Got it, love it. The action feels as good as the higher-end Sprints. Very smooth, solid lockup, zero blade play open or closed. GRN handles feel pretty nice for a ‘budget’ material. I’m guessing the 420HC won’t hold an edge as long as the S30V, but it will probably sharpen up quicker, too. I’m not a heavy user, so I might not even notice the difference. If you’re still on the fence, jump off and buy one. I’m thinking of getting another one in blue!

That’s good news thank you!

That is really tempting! I'm liking the blue one (just for a change of pace).

These new Stealth runs are some mighty fine knives. Here are both sides.

I have the black one in my cart, I'll add it to my next Buck purchase for free shipping. Thanks again!

If they made this series with a similar blade shape of the 843, I think I would be all over it.

I'm not a flipper fan, but I keep getting drawn to the 843 just based on appearance. I won't spend $160 on one, but I would pay $60-$70 for a 420HC version to try out.

The guys over on “The Porch” in the traditional forum have a 30 Day Barlow Challenge going on: carry and post a Barlow for 30 days. Can be a different one each day. My “only” three Barlows are a Camco (Camillus’ budget line) and two Imperials from my Grandfather, but I’ve had my eye on my grail Barlow for a while now online. I probably threw too much cash in the bay, but if I’m going to be carrying Barlows for the next 30 days, and since my birthday is this weekend…

You Lucky duck!!
Congrats!! 🍻🤝👍

Thank you! Like I said, I had been watching it for several weeks and none of the rest of y'all scooped it up so I figure I probably paid a little too much ($200 plus shipping), but what's done is done. I've spent money in worse ways. Besides, those GEC guys over in the traditional forum throw that kind of cash around without batting an eye.

I had been reading some old threads learning some Buck history and saw where 300Bucks 300Bucks mentioned a couple of knives he really wanted but missed out on because he only ever saw one or two for sale and they were more than he wanted to pay at the time. It sounded like, looking back, he wished he would have bought them when he had the chance. I'm not a big collector, but I know what I like and only buy a handful or so a year so when those guys over on The Porch put the Barlow bug back in my ear, well, that pushed me off top dead center. LOL!

PS: speaking of 300 Bucks, his username didn't pop up when I tried to tag him in the paragraph above. I know he stepped back from being a moderator a couple years back, but has he left BF for good? Has anyone heard from him?

PPS: speaking of prices, my dad always carried a 305 while I was growing up. Often a Clipper once they came out with the scissors. He was always losing them out of his pants pocket in the car, recliner, everywhere. I looked up a couple Clippers on the bay thinking I might get him one and did a double-take when I saw what folks are asking for them these days! $130 and up, not counting $90 for a very well-worn purple one. I suppose I should check his dresser drawer to see if he still has one before considering paying that to get him one for nostalgia's sake for Father's Day or Christmas or something. He's been carrying a 293 Inertia for years and loving the new-fangled assist. :)

Congrats on the Buck Barlow!

You might want to keep an eye on the Clippers. About a year or so ago, I bought a knife from a guy in Canada who also had a couple clippers listed. I think they ran much less than the current offerings. I just checked and he doesn't have any now.

I think they made two, a regular and a 'grand daddy'
Yes, the 332 is the regular (what I bought), and the 331 is the granddaddy. From what I read in old posts, there were 900 of each made in 1999 for SMKW by Camillus. The regular available in black and yellow, and the granddaddy in black, yellow, and brown bone, I believe.
