My birthday present arrived today. It's a 112 from the Custom Shop. I know everything about it except the handle material which my wife picked out herself.

I don't get to open it for 7 more weeks.

The horror!

The last Bucks I ordered were 2 custom shop elk stag buck 110folding hunters,one in drop point and one in clip point,rivets and nickle bolsters.Both are perfect examples of a custom 110.i also ordered a orange g-10slim take apart s30v,it's slim lol.nice knife you can change out blades on,as long as the new blades have the small bronze bushing to fill the hole in the blade you can use any 110 blade.

I have a grab bag of sorts coming. Took a chance ($40) on this lot from an online auction without being able to see the blade beforehand. Liking the largemouth very much, although I'm assuming not American made.

I would have done the deal. There was a US made 521 with a largemouth bass, hope it turns out to be genuine US. The 110 small two pin is the real catch. Congrats.

Thanks Preston. The 110 caught my attention and is the reason I bid. If the Bass turns out to be a Buck I will be surprised. I will share some more pics when they arrive.

Chinese made knives are unappealing no matter whose image/name/etc appears on them. However, putting Patton on a Chinese blade is reprehensible. Jeesh, what in the name of all that is holy were they thinking?

The 110 turns out to be a V3V1 (BUCK*) that is in pretty darn good shape with an edge sharp enough to slice paper. Sheath was not correct but in good condition. Bass is a Japanese made knife that has excellent lock up and a keen edge. The other surprise was the lock-back with the straight nail pull. It is a Japanese made Kershaw 4200. Again solid lockup and a very sharp edge.

Glad it turned out to be a dandy and in such fine shape. The other knives are great but the 110 is superb, doesn't need a thing except a bit of TLC. Congratulations!

I had that knife in my cart several times but have not pulled the trigger yet, looking for a real picture of it before committing. Please post picture of this when you receive it.

I've wanted that knife for a year now.

Eye, ya, ya, I had to order a 110 with nickel silver bolsters from the custom shop. That was at the end of March. Buck is going to send it to Uncle Leroy so he can put a 5160 blade on it with some Elk slabs.
Buck says 6 to 8 weeks on customs. Do you think it'll really take that long?
I'm like a little kid waiting.
