What Did You Cut with Your Buck (Yesterday or Today)?

he he Hawkeye5

I do to... but tested the edge with my finger and oops. Also when stropping it a little I sliced my thumb too..

What pi$$es me off is the fact that I only ever cut my left hand!

Yea I know. I guess they should put warning labels on those buck knives.
:D :D :D :D :D

Yeah I also cut some speaker wires for my home theatre system. The serrated section on the 882 was a winner for that task.

I used a loose 110 blade with a broken tip to pry the ID plate off a Fairbanks-Morse magneto today so I could bead-blast the housing... :)

(What, did you think I'd use a precious 110 w/BG-42 & Water Boo scales for that???) :grumpy:

That would've warranted at least a two day suspension of you from my "Too Cool for School Buck Breakfast Club".

I cut up so more of that cardboard that seems to breed in my garage.
Then some lumpia wrappers.
Buck Strider 889SBMF (hmmmm...ya know what you could call that knife if it was a "BSMF").

Five-O...where's the "adobo with a Buck" pics??? ;)

Jim... No crappie pic's today becouse guess who did not
catch any yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!:foot:

I've been perfecting the edge on my 112 the last few months so it's very sharp. Today I reached down and slit the stalk of a sow thistle flush with the ground in my mom's backyard. I drove over there (2-hour drive) to work on the plumbing and run errands. On the way home I stopped at JuJu's Crawfish on HW365 and polished off 5 pounds of ditch bugs.

i used the 560 to cut the roots off the 5 foot tiller bar behind the tractor today
and the remainds of some old bike tire that was barried on the mini farm here here a few days ago.....
for a change i have not cut my self with a buck for 4 weeks!!!
i have snaged some new ones off ebay and still no cuts!

I used my (2 day old .112.) to cut open boxes/bags and cut tygon hoses at work. It feels good to have a nice knife for a change. I'm sold on these now.

Reading these post lately, I'm now thinking of getting a pair of Kevlar gloves.

I used my 655 Nighthawk to chop some wood over the weekend..... but I wouldn't recommend anyone else trying it :o

Sounds interesting, matt321...what country are you in??? Don't think we have anything like that in the USA... :D

I used a Bucklite 442 to open a UPS box containing a gas tank today...Nylon reinforced tape; loads of it...now how do I get the goop off the blade???...

Nope, wiping it on my jeans doesn't work... :(
