What did you do to/with your Becker today?

I damaged the tip of the BK11 I use very slightly. The tip wasn't perfectly centered from the factory anyways, and I wanted to give sharpening with sandpaper a try so today I picked up some 220, 320, 400, 600 and 1500 grit sandpaper watered it up and did several passes on each going from course to fine, did more on the fine pieces than the coarse ones. Used the 220 to redo the tip and it turned out pretty well.

It'll shave arm hair now with very very little effort. Before today it had gotten to the point where it wouldn't shave at all anymore, and using a coffee cup won't get it to where it is now. I'm proud of how it turned out. I also started a bit of a false edge on the back front side of the blade.

Today I used my BK14 to cut a shoe box down to size to cover my rear passenger side window after the window decided to fall down into the door. Shortly after, I repeated this process with the OTHER rear window after it fell too. Curse the day I bought a PT Cruiser! I will never forgive myself.

Well all of my 3 beckers and i watched "i am legend" while chopping veggies for dinner, cooked some BACON and ordered a little bk14 brother....! Full day, gonna make a fire and throw myself in the hammock now!

I started on the handles for my 12...it was going pretty well until I realized the fasteners I bought wouldn't work. I've pretty much decided that I want to stick with removable scales, so this one is in limbo until I sort out keeping all the pieces attached.

I made some feather sticks (for fun, not fire) with my bk11 and also pried open our Mailbox again, frizzing rain.

Went on a short day hike and played around with the 10 and 4

My 14 came today! I had it sent to my work so it wouldn't just sit on the porch all day when it was delivered. Did a quick handle wrap on a break with the cord that came with it and made a simple lanyard, tied off with a snake knot on each end. I will do a better wrap when I have a chance with either the OD green or rescue red paracord I have on hand.
