What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Worked on convexing my 14. It will cut paper right now, but it is not hair popping sharp. I don't think it's too bad for my first try at sharpening. I have also been using the 14 for a little prying and what not while putting together our kitchen cabinets.

Cut the asparagus. Also used my BK9 as a draw knife so we could get a new door properly installed.

Yesterday, I used my 9 to separate a 22" rattlesnake's head from his body. My mother had just cleaned out a flower bed and threw some dry fertilizer down around them and told me to water it in. When I watered the one she had just finished with, this bad boy untwisted itself from the rose bush. Momma got lucky. The lady across the road got tagged by one about this size last week. Stomped on his/her head, pulled out the 9 and did a "Marie Antoinette" on him/her

This morning, I laid out a pallet of grass in the dog run and used the 9 to chop the pieces to fit the left-over holes. One of the Murphy's Law Corollaries is that no grass pattern will ever be EXACTLY "X" pieces wide and "Y" pieces long.

And then later I used my 11 to open 8 more packages of knives at the Post Office.

I took my bk-7 out on a day trip and used it pretty hard. Check out my post below.

Against my better judgement with my broken foot, I went on a mild hike and worked my seven for a bit. Batonned through some driftwood and chopped with her. Also brained a pony.

Will probably start a thread with more pics I took as it was a beautiful day for hiking by the Falls of the Ohio. More on that after I catch some much needed zzzzs.

I subdued a vicious watermelon as it attacked a co-worker. No melon messes with my buds when there's a BK6 around. I think he got phone pics, I must acquire them.

Did some more work on my Eskabar mod. Worked on shaping the cocobolo scales some more. Ready to secure them to the blade and do final sanding/sculpting of the handles.

Used my 11 in place of the flat head screw driver I didn't have to fix the blinker on the wife's minivan while sitting in the grocery store parking lot.

Looks like somebody got to it before you.

I tried batoning through a log with my BK9 today. The log decided it was going to have none of that, so I stopped before a catastrophic failure could be had.

Picked up a little stainless steel pot at the thrift store, It had no handle so I chopped up a handle for it quick. I carved the handle out of a walnut log with my bk2 and drilled a hole through it and mounted it to the pot which already had a threaded hole for a bolt. Ya I know the handle might burn but that's okay I can whip up another one if needed. The second pic is pretty obvious what happened.... And of course both pics include the o'l bk2 with my custom burl scales!

For some reason my original post posted twice. I'm not really sure how to delete this entire post so I guess I'll leave it at this...
