What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Stripped blade and added patina. Also added lanyard, which greatly improves the grip for me. Then touched up the edge on the sharpmaker.

That's awesome!

Um........... Sharpened my BK3 on my new Ken Onion.

Then dealt with a moldy rotten kitchen cabinet that needed to be ripped out. Fixed the leak last week and thought every thing was dry.
Boy was I wrong!! Ugh.........

Cut a hole with the BK3 to inset my saw.

Ended up having to remove almost everything in there, was too pissed to take pics. I had lots better things to do with my time than this.

Not exactly today, but this week, after researching how to go about it, stripped my BK-2 and BK-7, and later put a choil on the 7. Pics will be up later.

[Edited to add pics of my two Beckers]

Picked out some cool looking DVD cases that will be transformed into BK16 liners. Great tip on that idea found here!

used my 11 to cut a lime for guacamole and open beers. Just spent 15 minutes trying to navigate the new flickr app to upload a pic, but failed.
prolly because of the second part of the 11 use.

Used my bk14 to remove a fruit flie from my gentleman jack when figured it was to hard to do it with the bk5.......!sorry,no pics but it did happen

Used::
- my 11 to open some bags of potting soil
- my 9 to ruthlessly chop of several dozen small (1 inch and less) hackberry trees off before dosing them with tree killer
- my 6 to clear away tall weeds and brush from around fruit trees after the weedwhacker head blew apart like an egg hitting a wall after being shot out of an air cannon.

I wound up chipping out the edge of my BK9 when cutting through a mulberry tree of all things. Two glaring cavities in an otherwise perfect edge, and I have no clue how to fix that, and no confidence in my abilities.

How big are the chips? Just get a rough india stone and start sharpening it should take care of it.
