What did you do to/with your Becker today?

I used my 5 to carve a prime rib on Christmas Eve. Sorry no pictures the electricity went out just when the prime rib was coming out of the oven.

Modified the factory sheath.

Did a little bushwacking with a very good friend of mine. I took my BK2 and he had a nice Wetterlings hunter's axe. We made a nice little fire and I introduced him to freezer bag cooking. Good stuff!

Amanda and I went out for a walk in the woods to try to gather some Chaga. We ended up with a decent haul for the short time we were out. I used my BK-3 to chop, pry, and beat the chaga off of these two trees. It did great even though it would have been easier with a baton.

Zapped another squirrel today - this time with a Smith M&P 9mm full-size. Shot him right through the coconut with a 115 grain fmj and cleaned him with my BK11 (mostly - still used the BK2 to remove feet, head and tail). Full disclosure: the photo has been altered to cover up unsightly goo, but I judge the alteration to be both subtle and nearly undetectable.

You should see his fox squirrels! His Rugar 10/22 looked like a GI-Jo gun compared to that monster......

That's the biggest one I've ever seen period in that picture. Your telling me he has gotten bigger ones!? Is he feeding them acorns with Rads? And please tell me he's using that 9 spear for hunting with.:D That's one of the best Becker pics I've seen.

Lol - you got it. :D That show was about a quarter inch high and right. Had a similar shot a few weeks ago with a sweet old S&W 66 that was about a quarter inch low and right (also a head shot) from the same distance. Gotta pull it left a bit.

Mr. Becker, I don't know about you, but I was scared long before this. See below.....

Oooh - blast from the past!

OK. Is it just me or is that a freaKgin humongous squirrel? It is dwarfing that 11.

Honestly, we have bigger ones here. Just had one tonight pan-fried with salt and pepper and a side of mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. Yow!

Here's a couple from two years ago posing with a BK9 (for scale - heh). The smaller one is about the same size as the one I just posted. As I recall, I cleaned both of these with that BK9 just to see how well it would work. Worked great!

WTF? I'm speechless. Never knew some squrriels got that large. I see now why lots of people eat them. Descent amount of meat on them bastids. I pulled 50+ pine cones from underneath my Mom's truck hood a couple months ago. She has a squirrel problem out there. I think I'm gonna have my first taste of squrriel meat next time I go out to the farm.:D that's got to be fun to get a bunch of squrriels that size in a day and have a big supper. How do they taste?
