What did you do to/with your Becker today?

The 9 and 15 had camp duty this weekend. 9 for chopping and batoning while the 15 had food prep duties. I trimmed ribeyes and jullienned peppers. Sliced onions. It's not my guyto but it works. It also did well on the fire roasted peppers I made. I put a 20 degree polished edge on it with my Edge Pro so that made it all the better. The remora didn't get any use though. My new Mules took all the stainless fun lol. [emoji83]

No big deal really, just did an etch, strip, sand the the scales and a mustard patina "hamon" on my wife's new 15.

Took the 4 out to try it out and break it in.

Finally got tired of mowing around the Roses of Sharon's dead limbs. BK 7 made short work of it. Funny, had the 7 but no camera/phone.

Came to the rescue after a frozen pound cake took out a cheap kitchen block knife.

*caution knife violence ahead*

Today, I thought about sharpening my BK21 and putting it to work.
I planned on it, actually; and was going to shift other things to make sure I had enough time.

Unfortunately, I didn't sleep worth a darn last night; so I'm going to back to bed. (Some tasks, I have enough sense to avoid when I'm overly tired....I didn't used to be smart enough to do that)

I recently built a bench grinder and have been learning how to grind flat grinds. Soooo I decided to take my 5 to the grinder to thin out the blade a bit and fix up the funky grind given it by the factory and also modified the tip to give it a little more "field" strength.

Well that was a treat to wake up to.

Great job.
