Ahhh...I've been eyeballing these.
I believe some action pics are necessary here...
I used my BK10 ("Charlize") to peel a bunch of kindling from some freshly fallen pine trees that I cut and split.
I noticed the edge was ever so slightly rolled, so I shaped it up on a smooth rock that I found in the root ball of an uprooted tree.
My only complaint was that when I set it down to tend the fire, the black-handled knife with the black blade and black paracord lanyard would literally vanish!

After the third time I asked my daughter to shine the LED from her phone on the ground, she said "What is WRONG with you?!?!?"
On another note, anyone know what the factory edge angle is on the Becker BK10/Crewman?
I assume I'll need to touch it up in a few months and can't come up with any relevant search results here or with my Googlefu.
The factory edge has worked just fine for me: I figure I'll do my best to emulate it.
