3.5lb head, as finished it's 35".And a sweet axe, great hang! That is great grain alignment .
How long and what's she weigh?

I'm happy with them as long as I can be picky. Good price too, just have to be selective. I'm done gambling with House Handle axe handles. I still recommend their hammer handles.Thanks. That's a great weight and a great craftsman.
Is that a Lowe's handle picked recently from Lowe's? It looks better than the Links I have purchased and used recently from my local hardware stores.

Selection varies, sometimes nothing is great. Other times I find great ones. I'm in the habit of looking if I'm in or near a Lowe's even if I don't need one. If a great handle is found I'll buy it and save it.Good to know thanks for the heads up. I have yet to pull the trigger on buying handles I can't touch.
There is a Lowe's near me and I am going to give them a look when I need a handle or 2 next.![]()
I’ve had good luck picking through the Lowe’s handles also. The grain alignment is hit or miss but most have a nice solid feel with tight grain. I am currently working on making one in to a octagon.I'm happy with them as long as I can be picky. Good price too, just have to be selective. I'm done gambling with House Handle axe handles.
