What did you use your knife for today?

Used my esee 4 to split a sapling that I had cut down with the saw of my swisstool to make a rake to clean out a fire pit/hang out area in the woods down the road. Made a feather stick as well.

I picked up a rat 1 a few weeks ago. I put it on a strop and man is that thing sharp, but it doesn't seem to want to keep the edge. I had it so sharp you could shave and then i cut up some cardboard and the shaving edge was almost gone. :(

Haha, I guess I kinda went off topic.

My sebenza and I cut: split tape on two packages of rails, opened 14 or so boxes, trimmed rubber sections four or so times, trimmed screen material, and opened the mail. A relatively light day, so all it got was a stropping when I got home. They gave me a utility knife with replaceable blades at work, I tossed it at the back of my work bench after they left.

I'm starting to realize the power of the strop.

At home, cutting 6-7 card board boxes for recycle (XM24) then stropped it have another razer sharp edge.
And pulled out my MPR and cut few beef stew. Again, I washed and stropped it.
Lastly, I pulled out my Buck Iceman and trimmed few branches on my new planted Birch Tree. I stone grind and stropped it. Even though I only have 75-80% blade steel left on Iceman (used it for 8 years.... everyday literally), I sharpen it so perfectly, Japanese chef will go home and cry, hugging his sushi/sashimi knife.

Tomorrow will be XM18 and PT CC's turn to have its sunny day!

To cut Teflon type cloth for our rolling saw horses so our material would stop getting abrasion marks.

Using the blade tip for cleaning/picking the crud out of the little corners and crevices of my Husqvarna 55 Chainsaw while cleaning and lubing it after cutting up logs and wood all day.

It was the only knife I carried for a solid year and im still carrying it off and on. Thats why its beat to hell haha. Very easy to carry. I just slide it in the front pocket and its good to go! I got more into folders since then so it sees less edc action but if im in the woods its always on me.

Studying for the art history midterm tomorrow! 940 keeping me company. Earlier today I used my minigrip to cut some ribbon. Thats about it.
