What did you use your knife for today?

Food prep using a Mac 6.5" Santoku:

- Green Thai Curry with Pork and Vegetables
- Chicken Teriyaki
- Monkfish in Prosciutto

A Kershaw Zing, just used it to open a package received in the mail, no...not another knife:D

Used my HK 14210 to irritate my wife. I kept flicking it open while she was trying to watch some boring Olympic skaters.

Used my Emerson CQC-7 to cut the plastic disposable protective sleeve off an Autopulse (Automated CPR compression machine). It was after a code and had blood and body fluids on it.

used my emerson super cqc-8 to cut some 550 cord, slice the potato i baked for dinner, admired the edge i put on it the other day a few times... that's it i think.

Opened some boxes and cleaned my finger nails with my EDC folder, lol.

I currently use a SOG Flash I for EDC. Overall I don't like it that much... but the blade shape is good, and it's the lightest knife I own, so that's enough to warrant popping it into a pocket and forgetting it's there until I need it. :)

the other day i had to weed whack and there was tons of rocks so it just chewed up the twine and i had to replace it like eight times. i was using my spyderco pacific salt.

just a crappy cell phone pic

I used my Strider SnG to cut up ma bagel. Oh yeah, I'm badass.

Would take pic, but bagel was consumed a while ago.

I used my new Vic Spartan to cut some telephone line I was installing at my Mothers house. Used the screwdrivers and the toothpick as well. This is going to get some pocket time. I really like this knife!

I used my Paramilitary to cut open the wrapper to a large lifesaver. What can I say? It was a slow day. ;)

Used my BK2 to cut two birch crotches then my Case stockman to make two slingshots. One for my boy and one for my niece. :):)

I've been on a fishing trip this weekend and we had to open a pickle jar. Well, nothing worked, so I had to use my S2K, put the blade's tip under the lid to break the vacuum seal:cool:

I used a GEC 1095-bladed toothpick to trim a splinter off a cabinet drawer in the church library. The drawer wasn't closing properly because of the splinter.

My Bradley Alias I opened a blister pack for a new razor, cut wrapping paper for a birthday present, pried the lid of a car wax tin, cut the wrapper on some burgers for the grill, and cut up some fresh jalapenos to go on top. It is the top knife in the photo and the easiest/smoothest opener I have.

I used my Victorinox Electrician to clean two bream and a small bass. It did fine scaling the fish and cutting the heads off as well as gutting them. Could have used other knives as I was at home but I always carry the Electrician so I wanted to see if it could handle the job if it was all I had out camping.
