What Did You Use Your Sebenza For Today ???

Took them all out, admired them, fondled them, wiped my prints off,and put them back in the vault. What a day. It's great to be alive.

Stripped NM cables, opened a chip bag, cleaned my finger nails, cut some carpet to place on a hardwood floor to protect it, and ended up stabbing it into a 2x4, and tightened up a set on a loose hinge in the kitchen.

Cut open the capsule holding the grease to the CV joint on the car.

Oh Yeah !!! Thats What I Wanna See........!!! Nice to see them being used Guys.....Keep It Up :D

I gotta get an Insingo someday....I never liked the 21 due to the pointy blade. I like that now finally CRK is giving us options. Keep It Up !!!

cut a bagel. put some peanut butter on it.

cut some rope off of my kayak.

cut some zipties. then admired it, stropped it, and tucked it away in the cloth.

1. Cut open a bag of peanuts
2. Cut athletic tape to wrap hands before working out
3. Cut the top off of a water bottle to mix some gatorade
4. Cut the tape off of my hands post work out
5. Used the blade to slice the callouses off of my hands.

Pretty weak day for such a hefty tool, but thats what I used it for..

Earlier today I was caught without any means to open a Dos Equis bottle. Normally, I'd use a Bic lighter but I was without one. After a couple moments of hesitation, I decided to use the Sebenza. I hesitated because I've opened bottles with G-10 slabbed knives before only to have them very chewed up afterward. Sure enough, the titanium of the Sebenza cracked the bottle right open with barely a blemish on the slab.

Later on when I got home, I decided it was time to re-lube and sharpen. I did just that and took my knife to the Sharpmaker as I noticed a little fold in the blade. After about 35/20 on medium and 15/5 on fine, plus a strop from my brand new and very beautiful African Mahogany stops courtesy of mr2blue, the knife is screaming sharp.

I'm going to order some green for the strops but even without they worked very well.

Here's a pic I snapped at the beginning of my little cleaning/sharpening session:

 ok, I've never tried that before.. A sure way to get scratches right? Not that that is bad for a user, but I would be hesitant too :)
We're talking about opening a beer bottle right?

Al the usual things around the house. Its spring and time to get the garden back in shape. The Insingo and my Burger EXK make a great pair.

Today I used my newly acquired Large 21 at work to splice up some underground wires feeding some bin fans, did 7 sets of these...took all day.

Nothing more satisfying than USING my pride and joy.
