What Did You Use Your Sebenza For Today ???

I used my small Sebenza Classic to open up a USPS Priority box from Tom Krein. Got my D4 Full Flat Grind. AWESOME.

I practiced some sebenza abuse. I used it to cut felt paper for the roof of the new shed I built. The blade had thick black tar on it. I have pics that I will have to post. I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly, good as new now !!!!!!!
 
I cut open bags of sand for my kids' sandbox and trimmed some landscaping fabric to line the bottom of the box. Also, more marshmallow sticks!!!

I cut the head of a Psilocybin mushroom into quarters, and then cut the piece up, so that I could.......












Field test it!!!! It was positive, leading to a narcotics arrest..... :)

Here are the pics. I used my Large NCIS Sebenza to cut the felt paper that hung over the roof on my new shed I was putting up. I also used it to score the back of the shingles for the toppers. You can see what it looked like after. I scrubbd and srubbed to clean it off with alcohol and acetone, that did not tough it. I then scrubbed it with good ol WD40 and it easily came off. After dissembly, a thorough cleaning, and sharpening, it was good as new. I dont practice sebenza abuse, but its my EDC and its called upon for a good many things, nice to know they hold up quite well !!!

Used my Sebenza over the weekend to cut some nylon rope to moor a boat.

My Sebbie is more my accomplice of sorts,I look for it to deliver
me from my mondane existence.Sometimes I control it,sometime it
controls me.My victims never seem to care that I have a unique
care for top quality cutlery to perform my perversion.Nor do they excite in
the knowledge that I'm going to use it to release their inner pain.;)

Mine has been taking a break from my pocket since I got the Spyderco Manix2.
 
Our timeshare here on the OR coast has crap for kitchen knives. My mother-in-law, an exceptionally accomplished cook, got frustrated with what she had to work with, and asked to borrow my Sebenza. She loves it!

Then after dinner, off to the beach for some smores . . . the NR is my go-to camp knife, and was used to baton all the firewood.

I used mine all week to cut "USSTB AUTHORIZED RETURNS" tape. That stupid tape is so sticky...it gets stuck to the blade and then gunks it up so I can't cut, but more of rip.:thumbdn:
 
I had an old friend for dinner tonight, used to trim and bone around
the rib meat.hmmm light or dark meat

To chop a 2x4 in half batoning (a guy didn't believe a pocket knife could do it so I had to)...technically it was with the Umnumzaan but still a Reeve :D
 
cut up some apple and cut some rope at work...not a busy day for my seb--no plant work today:)
 
Like "coop1957", I used my NCIS large sebenza to open my newest addition to my CRK collection. Its a " Jigged" Madagascar Rosewood Mnandi. She is a beauty. VERY Grippy. I look forward to carrying her around for awhile. Enjoy !!!

Do you think it is possible that because we enjoy the knives we sometimes do things the long way? ;)

For example I have an electronic peeler for fruit but I have not used it once yet and I eat a lot of fruit. I prefer to use a knife although the peeler takes 10 seconds. My fiance thinks I am a nut
