What did your SAK do today?

Cybertool 41 backside small thin flat screwdriver popped the cap on tub faucet, socket driver Phillips unscrewed screw to handle, pliers attached retaining clip. I'm loving the tool collection on it. I use the pliers more than i would have guessed. IMO better than a small sak where most chores I'm seeing posted are using a blade.

Used my original style Traveler last night to prepare dinner; Grilled swordfish and roasted red potatoes

Today, my Wenger Soldat helped me prepare my job site for hurricane Sandys arrival here in NYC. Cut through shrink wrap holding sandbags on skids, the awl made pilot holes for boarding up windows, and both drivers fastened all types of screws.

I used my Executive on an s-biner to keep my little grey card weighted down in my jacket pocket as I took photographs on the streets of Manhattan.

I used my Cadet to open a tough bag of potato chips to celebrate getting out of Manhattan before everything shut down ahead of the storm.

Cut open a bag of Costco tortellini last night... you east coast folks be safe and please find a much, much cooler use for your SAK than me!

Yesterday -used the awl on my super tinker open the seal on some oil bottles, and the scissors to snip a plastic snap on the wires of a new generator. Didn't need the generator thankfully, as Sandy went West.
Today- Used the scissors on the super tinker to cut out a newspaper article, and tightened some philips screws on a cabinet.

I used the knife of my Compact to break down some boxes, and the combo tool to break down one box with staples.

Vic Farmer:

Cut up a tomato when I made tomato bacon pasta w/ cream sauce for lunch
Used the awl to cut a hole in a mason jar lid to make a charity collection jar at work
Popped open a few beers

Flat screwdriver to break loose stubborn video monitor cable screws and pliers to bend back some bent console panel tabs (weren't big enough for the amount of torque needed) at work when i recruited to be an IT guy to swap out a dead monitor on a Sunday. Had to cut open a thick zip tie as well but as i carry a para 2 you know that bad boy gets deployed first for any cutting tasks :-) including cutting open several knotted plastic bags containing our mexican take out for lunch.

Used my green vic classic to open a paycheck envelope at work, only the girl next to me saw the knife and I was pretty sure nobody would freak out. ;)

My Vic Farmer spread some cream cheese on a morning bagle. it then cut some twine at lunch.

More of a what did your multi-tool do today, but I'll post it here rather than pull up an old thread.

Used my Victorinox SwissTool RS to pry off the cracked cellidor handles from my 25+ year-old Fieldmaster in preparation of reshodding it in nylon.

New nylon ready to be installed.

How do you put on new scales? Press in or glued?

I did not add any adhesive, just pressed them on at the three rivets. Do a search on you tube, there are several videos that show the entire replacement process.

Edited to say, thanks for asking. Your question made me go back to take a look at my post, and realize that I did not post any pictures of the inside of the handles. Since the new nylon are already on the knife, here is a shot of the old cellidor that I removed.

In this picture you can see the three holes where the handles are pressed onto the rivets.

Today my Vic Pioneer's awl made a new hole in a belt for a girl at work and opened a couple boxes.

Today the wood saw on my trusty Fieldmaster halved an acorn squash for Thanksgiving dinner. The skin on those things is hella tough!
