What do you guys think of the S110V PM2 Blurple knives?

I would just use it and see if it breaks in. A drop of oil in the pivot helps. If it doesn't loosen up on it's own give the pivot a slight adjustment. I am anal about pivot tightness so I am regularly adjusting most of mine.

I use mineral oil as it is food safe and I have it on hand for my cutting board. Just a drop. Less is more. ;)

Well the only one I have is the Manix 2 LW that was reground, don't have a PM2, the same one I have always had.

Whittled some hardwood today with it and made a fuzzy stick... The wood is seasoned hickory and the edge geometry is .006" BTE and 15 DPS, edge is 400 grit.

For some reason I didn't have any issues sharpening it, no chipping or any of the other issues some seem to have so I am not sure what the problem is. ;)

LOL...I know the feeling. If the M4 doesn't get released soon I might also have to put a blurple hole in my head. ;)

Just got my in yesterday in Canada, I love S110V in my Native FRN, however this blurple thingy..... I am not feeling it so far. I would prefer a non translucent type.

The Steel is quite good, I have used my native to take down 20 cardboard boxes that came with the wood floors and it held up very nicely and I have only stropped after to bring back the ultra sharp edge, and I use it daily to open packages, blister packs, break down more cardboard boxes and what not, still on my initial sharpened edge at 15 dps. the edge seems to last and last. For the last 2 month, with all this use, I can only feel 1 micro chip when I run the blade with my finger nail and with it I only get a little bit of hang up when slicing really thin news paper or catalog paper. I don't feel it when slicing printer paper.

I am feeling exactly like you two. I sold off my my pm2 expecting m4 soon but, it doesn't look like that's the case. The s110v has been calling to me due it its corrosion resistance and edge holding.

2 weeks so far... Love this knife! Helped me with my lastest project... horse breast collar that goes across their chest to hold saddle in place when you go up hills. It was all black, I put 30 ft total of blue para-chord in each side. I've never seen this done and it will be there just in case something happens. God only knows what can happen out on the trails!

I can't believe I gave into a CTS-XHP sprint. Deal was too good to pass up. LOL
