I think even a Dull Sifu would probably lob off part of your foot if you dropped it

BTW, most of my knives are at least hair popping but my REKAT Pioneer II and MOD CQD MKII are scary.

The REKAT's I have in general take a great edge.

Oddly enough, the knife I received in today's mail is the sharpest knife I have. Right out of the box. SPyderco Wegner -- ATS34. One I'll have to be extremely careful with.

Before today, was my full size CRKT Apache -- also ATS34.

Out of the box, a Spydie Moran in VG 10, Dozier Toothpick and Straight Personal(D2), Several CRKT folders(unk),Magna(AUS8A) and Impulse(Sandvik 12c27),,a Marbles Sport 99,a Camillus CQB2 plain(ats34),a Busse Basic 3(Mod.INFI),Spyderco Military(CPM440V)** and some Puukkos of laminated steel of unknown composition.I have improved to that state:BM Nimravus Cub(ats34), SOG Mini Pentagon(unk), REKAT Carnivour and Pioneer II (ats34),**[I have a box full of Spyderco's which came and remain razor sharp, especially an Endura in ats55.They use many steels, but all of their knives I have experience with(about a dozen right now)came scary sharp out of the box.Obviously, Mr. Glesser knows something about sharpening that some others don't!]

I am not sure, but the sharpest out of the box for me may be in the mailstream as I type. I just ordered a marbles sport99 from Brian at discount knives. Right now I would have to say some of my most respected edges would be: the CS Scimitar, Spyderco Wayne Goddard Gin-1,Benchmade Stryker (Chisel Grind ats-34 ),CKRT Apache (ats-34), Benchmade Nimravus Cub ( d2 ). I am also impressed with the Buck Edge 2000 such as came on the BU532. Also, the limited edition Buck Knight with malonite bonded stone scales is a very sharp little devil. Some of my Case knives actually came with a slightly rough edge...sharp, but ruff. If any of these cut you, you won't know it "till the wind blows". stay sharp, rdogout

Sharpest 3 I have are a Benchmade 710(m2) where I thinned the edge out to about 10 degrees per side, a Kershaw Ricochet(440V), and a Benchmade 855(ats-34). All these will split hairs lengthwise and pushcut cigarette papers. My other knives won't take this sharp of an edge, or if the could it would be too delicate for what I use them for. Still working on my Camillus EDC, it has a nice thin flat grind and definate potential for scary sharpness.

That was then, this is now!

Yesterday, posted re Spydie Wegner. Today, received my new Spydie Calypso Jr. Ltwt. Truly a horse of a different color! I now understand why Joe Talmadge goes on some about what a cutter it is. Whew!

I just got a Neil Blackwood custom stellite river/raft knife. It's shown on his site. Double edged. Viciously sharp. I rarely cut myself, but this one sliced my finger so cleanly I didn't start to bleed for almost a minutes. Great knife, though. I didn't know stellite got that sharp.

a really neat old timer 25OT (folding hunter pattern) that i picked up at a yard sale and have stil never sharpened (i think it's about 20 yrs old, because i think schrade stopped making that pattern about that long ago).
my bm42as.
my jaguar balisong. i touched the blade with my pinky and bled all over my carpet.
