My pile of EDC crap got its own thread, but the basic pics
WAY too much stuff, and I just downsized to the Remora from the Jumbo (its working well)
Couple of things have been cut since, but not much, and a few things are not in the pics, like sunglasses and wallet, fenix E05. Why do I carry all this crap? I currently have three jobs, all casual so my sched is sometimes a bit bonkers. Keeping everything in one bag means that when I leave the house at 0400,1000,or 2300h I have what I need. I work as a corporate Audio-Visual tech (all-round pinch hitter, lights, audio, projection/visuals, recording and camera, just not that great at any of them) I also set up trade shows, and marquee tents for events. Since I can end up anywhere, and for any sort of length of time, with or without my own vehicle, it helps to have whatever I might end up needing. Part straight up survival, part comfort, part work tools.
The only thing left to solve are where to keep coins, and job-wise if I should start packing a toothbrush! the last few jobs have been out of town, and I'm starting to expect a road trip to drop on very short notice.
I could cut it way back, but it makes life way better, and I'd rather know I had something than go hunt for it when I need it. In the last year everything in the bag has been used, most of the time in convenience situations, and nothing life threatening yet, but a few fairly significant situations.
And for the important part, the izula lives in the bag, current MT is a vic swiss tool on the outside, and pocket carry is currently Alox soldier or Case med stockman. other than that, pockets stay empty for the most part.
