I'm not a hoarder (sp?) or collector. Just a guy who owns a few knives and carries one or two each day. They are tools imo. No safe queens. I own about 18 knives. I could easily unload a few and be content with a few EDCs (Mini grip, delica, boker trance), a few SAKs, and few Kabar/Becker types for hiking/camping. I'm somewhat of a minimalist in many regards and no desire to own a Sebenza (although I might own a Yuna one day...).

I'm in the same boat as you. I only buy knives which I use (which is why SAK's seem to dominate my edc rotation). I would say that I have spent around $1000USD (after currency convertion from Australian dollars), but then again, we pay far more for knives down under.
