What do you want to see in 2017?

"Improved" muskrat with a wharncliffe on one end!

Been almost 6 years since a #62 Court House Whittler.
Agree with Wilted Kilt on the #81. Abilene would be great.
I agree with you on both. Plus what Black Mamba said about the #82s in the post following yours.

I've a few of both the 62s and 82s, but completely whiffed on the 81s. I'd like to buy a few of any of the 3 patterns if they're offered again.

By all means, more jacks and 15 patterns from GEC.

Really though:
Whittlers and stockmen (stockmans?) from GEC.
A Case offering in CV with the rattailed bolsters like their new run, hopefully with a Baby Copperhead.
A well-made Queen.

81 and 66 big clip stockmans, 77 big clip Yankee jackbcoping secondary. 73, 53 T.K., 38 grinling, 54 frame scout. DeFINITELY a coffin jack with wraparound spring and coping secondary-7 pull would be great.

I would pay extra$$$$ to have a custom shop of sorts where they had 3-4 popular frames each year and a handful of cover materials, blade shapes, & pull types to mix and match and choose from. Kinda how Buck does with the 110s.

Perhaps I'm just wierd, I know I'm picky.

GEC split back whittlers, 33, 31 Northfield Norfolk. Would like to see some polished rams horn. As for Case some split back whittlers too, like the 6383 or 6380. If another run of GEC 38s would like to see a short wharencliffe like case sea horse whittler.

I like the 3.25 beagle idea and definitely a coffin jack. Would really like another run of the eureka jack too (GEC)

I would like to see case tighten up on their quality control, to me this would drive up their sales. I will be first in line

Definitely would like to see some ram's horn handles!

I'd buy multiples of a 3.5" improved trapper from GEC. I'd also be more than happy with a #15 with clip and Wharncliffe combo (like they did with the #77s)

I also agree wholeheartedly with more #66s - either standard 3 blade, or a clip/sheepsfoot 2 blade.

I'd love to see a certain talented knife maker release a fish bone barlow fixed blade. A sweet little fixed to fit nicely in a pocket sheath, killer fish barlow bolsters and Clip and Spear blade options:cool::cool::cool:

Isn't there one on the exchange right now?

A GEC version of the Schrade 93ot wrangler would be sweet! I would just ask that they use the standard traditional clip. I e never been a fan of the muskrat clip on the schrade.

Thanks Erik : You got me all excited now because I realize how much I want GEC to have available and they don't have it and I have to resort to buying something else.

Harry

No problem! :D

I'm always surprised to see just how much people want to see a coffin jack. I've been obsessed with the pattern ever since I saw the Case/ Bose ebony for the first time.
These are are all wonderful suggestions/ hopes/ pipe dreams.

I'd like to see GEC go small. Another run of 33s, 09s, and 68s on a single spring.

I would also like to see someone take a try at a lobster knife.

That makes 2 of us.

I'm not very well known on the porch, but for the few that do know me know I'd love to see another run of 92 eureka jacks!
