What do you want to see in 2017?

I would love to see GEC start making all of the pins completely flush. Is there a technical reason why this is done for one pin but not the others?

I want to see a manufacturer replicate the deep red of the red bone case knives. I also want to see this exact jigging with the rounded & scalloped look. I want this to be common, not just for some high-end custom knives. Case's current dyed bone offerings are not usually attractive.

EXCEPTIONAL  That's what I want to see on CASE's PenKnife. If CASE made the effort and got some really decent Redbone together, I think GEC would notice a certain falling off of interest.......;)

As to your pin question, it's a pet hate of mine ,the one sink-hole eyesore.:barf: Often appears on woods and synths....yet I have GEC knives with flush or domed pins. It's usually the centre pin top liner that gets the sink hole treatment, they may be fearing cracking, I don't know, but it looks horrible anywhere:barf::barf::grumpy:

I'd love to see a wide range of CV from case to balance the stainless patterns out especially in chestnut bone, walnut bone and old school red bone.

I'd like a little more QC from Queen. They released many cover options this year that I thought were great and rarely seen outside the custom realm.

All the suggestions to date in regards to GEC have been excellent. I'd love to see splitback whittlers, barlows, possibly the stainless barlow with acorn stamped bolster mentioned some months back by Jake, a Lambsfoot ( feet?) maybe a Mallory/Everest tribute and another run of diamond or standard radio jacks. Just wishful thinking for the most part. For cover options I'd love to see some abalone, exotic woods ( spalted, burl, heart, iron etc) and all the variations of stag from years past.

After seeing pictures in the threads of the "lost Esquire" (sorry for the loss!) and the "Canoe" knife,
I was thinking it would be great if GEC produces again the nice #09 and the stunning #16 (little Indian) pattern in 2017!
